Looks like the u18s season is going to be a delayed start, no game this weekend with a number of players unavailable.

How come the U18's haven't started yet? Are we having to isolate or something due to a positive test?

Apologies: just found the report again now and City actually won 4-2 at the Alan Higgs Centre yesterday, not 3-1. Goals from Sam Rodber, Joe Nightingale, Sam Pitts-Eckersall and Harrison Nee.

CCFC U23s v Crewe:

Tyler, Burroughs, Rowe, Thompson, Williams, Newton, Lafferty, Bartlett, Hilssner, Jobello, Kastaneer

Crewe played Newcastle 23s last night in the Checkatrade so imagine they have a fairly young team out.

Crewe U18s 0-0 CCFC U18s this morning.

They had beaten Blues 4-0 and Forest 5-1 so it’s a solid defensive display.

Our next 23s game is on Wednesday against Wigan at 1pm (unless it’s been rescheduled)

Our U18s were on the wrong end of high scoring game this time as they lost 7-4 to Blues this afternoon for their first defeat. Aidan Finnegan was in the line up against his former club.

Malakai Reeve, Harrison Nee (2) and Aaron Evans Harriott scored our goals.

Nee has a very good start to the season with 6 goals in 4 games and should be pushing starts with the 23s

Team: Bell, Harland, McGrath, Finnegan, Reeve, Howley, Hewitt, Nightingale, Rodber, Nee, Evans Harriott

Our U23s are away at Watford this afternoon, there doesn’t look to be any team news from our end but I think the Watford official will post updates. 1pm

Three potential first teamers there. Let’s hope they come through unscathed.

Do we reckon none of these are in contention for tomorrow then?

I'd imagine that might depend on if and why and when any of them are taken off.

I'd have thought it highly unlikely. But who knows?

It was 5-2 in the end. McGrath, Nee (2) and Evans Harriott (2).

REPORT: Sky Blues 18s 5-2 Colchester United 18s

The Sky Blues Under-18s bounced back from last week’s loss to Birmingham City as they put five past Colchester United 5-2 at the Alan Higgs Centre.
www.ccfc.co.uk

Nee has 8 goals in 5 games playing as a number 10 I think - him and Evans Harriott should be playing for the 23s, hopefully they will once Hilssner and Jobello are back in the first team

CCFC U23s v Bristol City (1pm)

Pask got to be on his way out in Jan? Came from West Ham 23s and now playing at a lower level of 23s football two years on.

Hopefully Hilßner is on the bench on Weds rather than another setback

Wonder if that’s 541 still with Bapaga and Jobello behind Bremang or if it’s 532 with Bapaga up front and Jobello in CM. Or even Jobello RWB and Burroughs in CM
