I have it on good authority that when his contract shortly expires at Blackburn Rovers, his chosen destination is us

Hijacked from Derby County

Lampard is cooking something spicy

I would love him here. But the fact Sunderland want him, is a worry

Still vaguely recall that goal we scored against Blackburn where he ran in the wrong direction for about 40 yards towards his own goal and (I think) set-up one of our players to score

I think he’s a decent player though, skillful and athletic.

Sunderland are in for a completely different level of player, they won't be interested.

Still young; I was not aware. 23, decent amount of goals and assists last year. Would be a good signing.

He's already played over 200 games at the age of 23 so decent experience. And knows this league very well.
Would be a good squad signing.

Remember the replies on Twitter from Huddersfield fans when we’d signed Rudoni?

Got the same vibe written all over it.

I was about to say a lot of these comments sound like bitterness because he's on his way out rather than a true reflection of his ability.

Some of the more sensible posters recognise his value and don't want to see him go.

Given his age I think he'd be a shrewd signing.

It’s also a lot like the comments made on here when COH left us on a free. Don’t get me wrong, we ‘won’ by replacing him with Rudoni.

7 goals and 6 assists is a good output from a winger and that’s whilst slightly underperforming his xG too.

No doubt he’ll have to keep developing but his stats suggest he could be upgrade on Sakamoto. It’ll be a solid signing.

Can't be having a first name with no vowels in it. It's just not cricket.

Seen a few different spellings of what I assume is basically the name Tyrese. This is by far the worst and I assume someone was pissed up when they wrote it down, but we'll let him off if he's tormenting LBs for fun for CCFC.

15 in Scrabble. Not too shabby though if you manage a double or triple word score.

Agreed, based on some of the comments on here I think some have slightly over rated him. When I have seen him live about a dozen times on tv he seems to operate in bursts of energy. IF he is reasonable wage wise amd Lampard thinks he will be a positive player to have around he will complement what we have in Saka and improve the squad as an overall.
With 5 subs these days the game is more about 16 players than 11 and hhe definitely improves our 16.

He’s 23 years old with 7 goals and 6 assists last season. If anything he is underrated and would be an excellent free signing. He would start in a lot of games for us, not just an impact sub.

He ripped us to pieces a few years ago at their place. The game where Gyokeres got hacked down and injured and the ref never gave a pen

Blackburn's fans are a miserable entitled bunch who don't realise the PL win was a blip off the back of a very generous benefactor

Perhaps his parents just wanted to avoid any confusion with that prick at Sheff Utd

Didn't he have some off the field issues recently/last season?
Alluded to by him when their manager left??

I've seen Rovers fans question his attitude. And this was before it was clear he was leaving.
