No idea if these are still open.

They might have some on the market in town, went through there the other day and it smelt like something had died in there. Was full of people selling knock off stuff, meat or fruit so you might be in!

Not useful for now, I realise, but they are really easy to grow. You can buy a packet of seeds for £2 and get more than 10 plants. You'll need some space as they grow very large but they are perennial so for £2 you can have 10 artichokes every year.

Tried every sodding supermarket and farm shop in the area.

Very possibly! Did Waitrose in Kenilworth and... Daventry(?!?), Sainsbury's, Cross Point and Ricoh Tesco's, Asda, M&S... hell, even Lidl!

Also tried to order them online from Waitrose, who kindly let you register, proceed to payment before telling you they're not available in your area.

If I'd known it would be this bloody hard, I'd have grown them myself!
