I got an LG for my Mum and Dad and was impressed enough that I also got (a more expensive!) one for myself.
As much as anything the os is good and has all the apps I need built in. Can get Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV, Disney+, YouTube, iPlayer, 4oD etc without needing to switch to another device. Haven't turned my Apple TV box on since I've had it.
Only thing it doesn't have is ifollow but that works in the TVs web browser.

oled are the dearer ones £1200+ , for sharp pictures
if not that you should go for at least the features mentioned above with 4k hd (limited use, but should get more)
This is the one i have which we are pleased with and not bad at £599, but there will be others
