The BBC repeated it when I was about 18. Loved it when I was a kid and have to say that Monty Python was correct “KIDS PROGRAM”. Just didn’t find it funny anymore and I think that was down to my own age rather than the age of the program.

I watched one some years ago but still many years after it originally aired and didn't think it had aged well even though I loved it when I was a kid. Having said that, I have morphed in to a miserable old bastard with barely a good word to say about anything.

They should bring back that German quiz show Tutti Frutti used to Benin the Hvc channel on cable tv , genuinely had no idea what was happening but it was essential viewing as a teenager

there is a big difference between repeating what went before or remaking - remaking is generally not a good move !


The Sweeney is on virtually everyday - brilliant with John Thaw and Dennis Waterman - “get your trousers on we’re the Sweeney “

Phoenix nights should be shown again - takes at least two viewings to see all the jokes
