Our beloved official website kindly informs our ever dwindling and loyal fans that they

intend to implement 'pat down searches before the Hull City match tomorrow'.

They suggest that this is purely a security trial with the up coming Olympic football

matches in mind!!

The cynic in me actually thinks that they peruse our forums and are preparing for the mass

acquisition of SISU OUT banners.

More lies.

SISU OUT.

Don't carry anything that contravenes the rules they apparently clarified last time people kicked up a stink, use them as reference if it comes up. There you go.

I hate being cynical but it's obviously they've heard the protest rumours. I'm really confused about the banner thing though, I know they said that it contravenes health and safety rules (or something along those lines), so couldn't they be draped over the material that seperates the fans in the corners? Surely that's more of a fire hazard and I swear all teams do that?

This is peoples chance to test them out really. The club clarified its stance last time and we know the saucy frisks are coming, so anyone with their banner inside the safe size etc. should come armed with a printout of the rules to slap in their faces.

(Don't actually slap it in their faces)

Hah! I can just see it, somebody slaps the rules in their faces, gets arrested and when asked why they did it, "well, ajsccfc said to do it"!! You've certainly got yourself out of a pickle there with your disclaimer!!

If anyone does use that as a defence, I will back you up all the way. Not literally though, can't be arsed going to court.

lol paranoia, cynical, they announced these searches before the anti sisu banners demo.
I blame sisu for the state of our club but not for the searches lol.
Sisu can nt tell the Arena to do searches at will.

The 2 times there's talk of mass protest they implement searches. Sure, they have to do them at some stage but it's too coincidental for SISU not to have a say.

I think you will find that today, yes today that this is a news item that appears on our club website today!!!!

In what way can this be construed as being announced by the club before the proposed up coming protest?

If you have attended games, you will have noticed the violent manner to which our fans were subjected by 'The Orange Ones'.

I do not understand your point.

Was it the last match that the yellow and blue coated stewards stopped the orange coated rent-a-thug ones from removing a banner or two in the stand where the players come out. ?

what on earth do our 'owners' think they will achieve ?
why, with these 'cloaked' actions, do they actively discourage fans, and thus reduce income ?
another s*su master blunder,
good grief !!!!

It is tempting to think that there's a Putin-esque figure heading SISU, sitting on the top floor of a dark tower, implementing police state tactics.

But SISU are hated. They know they're hated. Taking away a few signs doesn't eradicate that. I really can't see why they'd go out of their way to inconvenience fans when they're desperate to boost attendances.

I'd take their reasons at face value for something like this.

Just get some teenagers to take the banners in. They're not aloud to search under 16's

They are searching for anyone who looks like they could last 90 minutes on the pitch.

My advice to you all is cough a lot, otherwise you might just get a game!!

Its blocks 1-6 which is the hull end!
But the chances that they will be the only blocks with 'olympic type checks' are slim knowing them orange W#*kers.
Flags and banners will get in if put down trousers!
Just don't try putting them in handbags or anything like that, as they search deep into the bags.
As someone said U18s have a better chance of getting banners/flags in as they can't be padded down.

Down trousers or wrap them around your torso under your top. Should feel no different than a t-shirt or vest to the goons.

And don't forget that the entrance to Harry is in hut 17.....

So anything beyond this for me is an excuse to check for banners.

They can search Under 18s as long as they ask the present adult if they refuse then they can be turned away. I hear that it is to do with the olympics as they have to do so many 'test' searches before the olympics starts.
