Agree.

Why is it always the same story with us of selling our players on the cheap, when clubs below us can hold out for the right price.

This is a robbery 750k + Parkin for the best young CB in the championship

He isnt the best young cb? He hasnt played for a year? He had a good run of games!

I do like him as a player, no way the best in the league!

Agreed. There is also no saying how Turner is going to comeback from what was a pretty nasty knee injury.

OPTA stats suggest otherwise, name another young CB in the championship who has as much potential as Turner bar Scott Dann who will leave.

Was he top after the season ended or just when he had that good goal scoring run? The season before half the people saying we want millions for him slated him for making too many mistakes!

Lets be realistic! Has he been capped at under 21? There are plenty of other centre halves just as good!

750k + an OK Championship striker for a player we haven't even had for the last 9 months......I'll take it.

Sure Turner is good on his day, sure he has potential, but we already have enough CB's to get us through the season. What we don't have is depth, or a top goalscorer, or a creative wide-man, or an experienced veteran. Now CCFC have 24 hours to get the depth we so badly need. 750k may not sound like a lot, but it could just be enough to get us what we need to stay up.

Turner was a luxury, and with the current state of the squad CCFC have no room for luxury items. Not a bad move in my books.

dont forget that Keogh has been playing very well at centre half the last few games with cranie - is selling Turner such a big loss?

£750k may not seem alot, but it would have been enough for Le Fondre

And will SISU see this as a chance to invest that in a decent striker? No, they'll say-"There you go Andy, there's a striker for you, big fat Jon Parkin-we can sell Lukas now!"

was it no coincidence our season started going tits up as soon as Turner got injured last season?

we went in to freefall as soon as he was crocked in the leeds game.

I agree and thought exactly as you have said last season but surely must be a coincidence. The fact is he was the only player on the pitch capable of scoring goals befoe marlon king came along

I think your putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5.. We were playing football by numbers, for me its was only a matter of time before teams worked out how we were playing and countered it. We'd also been very lucky in a number of games at the start of the season and that luck ran out around the same time.

Don't get me wrong Turner was great at the start of last season, but the season before under Coleman he was rubbish and I'm sure I'm not the only person to say that Ward should have been in the team.

I think 750K plus Parkin is good work see as he's been out for 10 plus months.

How convenient for SISU that Turner's sale comes when Le Fondre has already got a new club...

The Le Fondre situation is interesting enough to suggest that SISU waited long enough to lose out before selling....just a suggestion?
