He looked good when he was flicking it around the corner, etc. But basic 10 yard passes etc. Just constantly gave the ball away or chose the wrong option.

It's when he's ends up as our regular number 1 that it gets a bit silly.

He's a massive upgrade on Shipley though. It's one of the few areas of the pitch we actually improved slightly in the summer.Would politely disagree, I think he’s been improving bit by bit each week but tonight was his worst display. Giving away possession frequently, the scuffed sitter at 0-1, not harrying for the ball as he has been of late.

Today was the Hamer we've been promised when we signed him.I've always felt Hamer was over-hyped, but I really loved the version of him we saw today. Clearly has been told to stay on his feet and cut out the reckless stuff, and I think his all-round game really benefitted from that.

How does he look lazy? He has covered a lot of pitch and tried to break up play. This fallacy he stands there waiting for the ball needs to end. He isn't a luxury player.I said said looks lazy to some.
