Who would do a better job running the club?
Sick to death of fans wanting a new club!
Do you really want to kiss a 130 years history away?
Does Trust have Sisu's knowledge, experience & contacts?

We have a new club now.

It's called Otium Entertainment, trading as Coventry City Football Club.

Bollocks!
It's Sisu trying to hide club accounts!
Why not call Otium: CCFC Ltd?

The Trust would have their heart in it and want the best for CCFC. Weather they are up to the job, nobody can be sure.

Surely it would also require taking out a massive loan to buy the club, what bank would take that on with no guarantees of paying it back (its football after all). And should some other business or rich kid put the money in, they surely would want to retain control.

No we do not, all we can offer is loyalty, enthusiasm, honesty and time.
However, we have never suggested or asked to run this or any other club. We have stated we would like some fan representation on a board but I for one do not have such knowledge but like to believe that among us there are such individuals.

On another note, I went to AFC Wimbledon on Friday and was impressed with there set up, would not work for us as we are much bigger in principle. But shows what can be done.

I think West Ham might have something to say about that.....

Interestingly itv only mentioned us as former winners in the highlights last night.

Back to the OP, the Trust have struggled to run themselves let along a football club.

It can be done but do we have the people in the trust to make it happen. We are not the only ones having a problem as below shows
[h=2]Working Towards a Better Future for Worcester City Football Club. Bringing Football Back to the City of Worcester[/h] Submitted by creaner on Sat, 09/11/2013 - 16:16

We’d like to thank all those who attended the Supporters’ Trust meeting held at Tudor Grange Academy on Thursday November 7th. We would also like to thank Tudor Academy for hosting us in their impressive facility.
Around 130 city fans turned up, some already Trust members but many others signed up for the first time to see what the latest efforts being made to protect the future of Worcester City FC.

Sisu have zero-zilch-O-none-nil experience of running a football club as their efforts to date have proved.
Further more their owner publicly announced she had no interest in football. Her only interest is money and how she
can get enough back to satisfy her investors that she wasn't stupid to make the investment in the first place.
The trust are not capable of running the club either, and they haven't got the money to scratch the surface.

Strangely enough Ray Ranson was the ideal type to run a football club,ie he is a football man who understands
the game. Had sisu not pulled the plug on him we might not be going through the present trauma.
One thing is for certain

We were in trouble before SISU arrived. We took out loans we couldn't afford to pay back, which in the end cost us Highfield Road. We then got into a stupid rental agreement with astronomical rent fees which we should have never agreed to and we kept on hiring big name managers with big wages and big compo pay outs. As much as I hate SISU, they didn't start all this. They've obviously made it worse but they aren't 100% to blame. The selfishness of some and the stupidity of others have contributed to the problem. The SBT want whats best for CCFC but whether they could achieve that isn't certain. Its a very complex situation and it will have an even more complex solution
