Pros and Cons
Pros
We have a very young team which will develop
We have a proven Manager who got us into the play offs
We have a huge supporting loyal fan base
According to Doug and MR this is a process and on track.
Cons
We lack a leader on the field and in the dressing room.
The media built up the supportera expectations.
The loss of AV

Must be more to add both ways.

I think we have a pro which actually can be a con. We have that much attacking choice that it’s stopping Robins sticking to who he thinks is best. Of course the biggest con is our ridiculously naive defending.

What exactly is the process? We look a long way from making the play-offs for the 3 seasons following this one and getting promoted to the PL in that time.

Hi Nick
The process is to buy and form a young team to develop. MR explained this in the Telegraph this week. It is a work in progress. Cheers.

It is full of young prospects with no leaders. So we end up with the shit performances we’re seeing.

Strictly speaking we’ve signed a bunch of players who failed to do even that as League 1 players.

This is what I don't get though. There's another thread talking about how we have signed League One quality players.

If Robins goes and this is in fact true, then the new manager will have to try and manage a team of League One players in the Championship.

If they're not Championship quality, they're not Championship quality.

I think a new manager could indeed come in and have a bit of a honeymoon period, but it's not going to last very long at all of the players aren't good enough..

You need experienced pros to help develop and lead - without them the current process is doomed to fail.

You are optimistic. We’ve narrowly lost a game. There can be no process, context or picture. Get him out. And if we lose another couple get the next one out.

Or buy players from the lower leagues and end up in the lower leagues.

Boils down to this at the moment and I realise it’s funny coming from me.

Do you trust Mark? If the answers not any more than we need to change the process.

If you do trust him, believe what he says about the club, Doug and the players. Of course there are questions mark, but if Mark is able to continue working at the club you have to assume he does so with a decent level of authority.

Struggling to think of any of these young players who have developed/improved from last season. A couple seem to have regressed.

For younger players to develop and improve decent coaching staff have to be employed. Ours are garbage
