I've got an Irish passport. How would you go about contacting an MEP? As I live over here I still don't actually have an MEP.

In this case of ( presumably) a breach of some EU regulation could not attach to WASPS unless they engaged in the breach?

The EU complaint, from my recollection (there are so many different areas of law that can be argued) is based around the argument itself. The 'who' doesn't matter. Of course, it does help if the entity making the complaint is the one that would also be affected by the complaint.

This is not always the case though. This is why you have people or groups having permission to argue on an entities behalf.

That's quite basic, this forum software could do that but would be a bit overkill as it's mainly a forum.

their existing site is powered by Joomla, could just install something like this - Membership Pro, by Ossolution Team - Joomla Extension Directory

Have this managing memberships / subscriptions - Membership Pro

Live stream can use youtube / FB Live / Periscope embedded to save bandwidth

Polls - Community Polls, by corejoomla.com - Joomla Extension Directory = You then just poll "members" within the site so it is truly 1 vote per member (no blagging of clearing cookies or using a different computer).

That could have it setup within a few hours, I dont know how their member database is currently to be able to import it. I assume they would just send an email out saying "go to this link and sign up if you want to"

That took me less than 5 minutes to figure out.

I am not too sure a complaint needs to include any affected party. When doing EU Law at Uni they were quite specific with this. It was the process which was being argued had been completely exhausted in a member state courts system to be the unlocking principle.

This is quite important. If anyone can make a complaint about a process which has gone fully through the UK court system then this is not a continuation of legal action.

I could be wrong though. This is from what I can remember from a few years ago.

I was just going on this but i wouldnt profess to be an expert in EU law

State aid complaint form – European Commission

Pursuant to Article 24 of the Procedural Regulation, only interested parties may submit complaints to inform the Commission of any alleged unlawful aid or misuse of aid. To that end, natural and legal persons submitting a complaint pursuant to Articles 12(1) and 24(2) of the Procedural Regulation shall demonstrate that they are interested parties within the meaning of Article 1(h) of that Regulation. (See to that end also Article 11a (1) of the Implementing Regulation ).

Article 1(h) of the Procedural Regulation defines interested parties as "any Member State and any person, undertaking or association of undertakings whose interests might be affected by the granting of aid, in particular the beneficiary of the aid, competing undertakings and trade associations."

Reading the Act under which the Company is constituted - You join as a shareholder Member for the appropriate amount and then you are a "member" until you leave and withdraw your introductory amount.
I do not think you could charge to have a vote on any membership issue

No, I meant charge for the membership.

If it's the case that it's for life then they would just import their existing members in to have access.

So I am a member for example, chuck my details into their database and I can log into the site and vote on polls / see streamed meetings etc.

If I vote on a poll, I don't have access to then vote again.

That's the point: Article 1(h)

Any persons interests can be affected. In particular but not tied down to.

This is not a continuation of legals. Anyone could of made the complaint.

Laughable. “I’ll put it to the board” being the standard response.

Let's hear it for the stakeholders.

What Is a Stakeholder?

A stakeholder is a party that has an interest in a company and can either affect or be affected by the business. The primary stakeholders in a typical corporation are its investors, employees, customers and suppliers. However, the modern theory of the idea goes beyond this original notion to include additional stakeholders such as a community, government or trade association.

This does mean even the Sky Blue Trust could of put in a complaint if they wished of!

Were you born in Ireland and do you qualify for a vote by proxy in Ireland? If you do your proxy will be in a designated seat, whoever the sitting MEP is in that seat would be the MEP you contact.

Is it now when I highlight that the council could have used State Aid to save our club and keep it at the Ricoh?

Instead of selling it to a rugby club from London......

There are 18 league clubs in non league

anyone that failed to pay monthly salaries to players or staff ever or failed to pay tax each month. Sisu have never failed to do this

I swear you swallow the crap hook line and sinker
I would have thought that payment of salary is only one measure of the worthiness or otherwise of a set of owners. Do Sisu have the best interests of this club at heart or is their loyalty to their investors even if it is to the detriment of the club? You also have to look at the position of the club when they took over and the position we are in now (I don’t just mean league position). Above anything is the fact that they, Seppala and Fisher, decided to take the club to Northampton, using it as a pawn, holding it to ransom, in their power game with CCC. At the moment it is Wasps stopping us playing in Coventry, but Sisu have done nothing to show that CCFC are their priority. The best that can be said is that they have left Robins and Boddy to get on with it and run the club. As for backing Robins, the best that can be said is that they don’t appear to be taking money away from the club. How much of their own money they are putting in is a matter for conjecture. Considering that three players have been sold for a combined total of £6.5m, Robins hasn’t exactly been flush with transfer funds (£750k on Godden the only significant outlay). Yes they need funds to keep the club going, but how deep are they digging into their own pockets?
I think some people have short memories.

Joomla is an excellent Content Management System that can manage a web site, with tons of plug ins like Nick has suggested to create a basic web site or a functional e-commerce portal. Friend of mine uses Wordpress with plug ins and PayPal - he runs a club which has yearly membership, all automated. He's clueless about this kind of IT but copes fine.
You don't need to pay through the nose these days to have a decent web presence.

No sisu are the best owners in football now as we might actually get out of the 3rd division northbound instead of southbound under them. Let's just ignore the fact that we're homeless again under their tenure and they threw away any chance of ownership of the ricoh all those years ago. Oh yes and we now play at the mighty stans(cringe).
Viva sisu.

I would say the Oystens at Blackpool maybe. They, as people, were certainly more odious but the damage to the club probably not as long lasting.
I can't think of another club where the owners have dismantled the infrastructure as much as our bunch. Even the shyster at Brighton had the good grace to leave after he stripped them of their ground.

I think the idea would be that you would contact her and ask her to make enquiries as to how long it will be before the EU (the legal bit) are likely to make a judgement on the question Sisu have put to them.
Where about are you living by the way (just being nosey!).

Hey that’s ok, I’m in Rebel County, Roy Keane land- Cork- and as chance would have it it turns out I’ve met Rochdale’s manager a few times in the past, he’s from just up the road from where I am, I had no clue until it about an hour ago...

That’s the one- his dad is a GAA legend apparently, that’s why everyone in Cork knows about him and Rochdale, I wondered why the hell there was such an interest in them

Got to admit, there is something that is grinding my gears in all this.

Does anyone know the answer to this question, or who would know the answer to; 'what happened to the contract for the development of the district/shopping centre'?

Seems like it is a moot point that no one has looked in to further.

Our own department of media and sport are in the loop re any developments re this case if what I've read is correct .
