From what I could garner ,there will be no comments from CCC re last weeks revelations ,due to the JR ,possibly due to the upcoming elections also ,which is possibly a reason the JR was delayed .

It seems Moz Jan and Steve have every intention of remaining In the SCG and will not be making an apology.

Council have refused to respond so far. I have asked. Default response is "no comment until the JR"

Right we are having our forum before the JR with or without the council.

We now know it is without.

Did someone say the forum would be in April or am I imagining it?

Any chance if chasing up Mr Labovich of this

The lack of council attendance should be down to the fact that this is about the finances and football of our club only. Why would we want or need the council at a forum discussing the finances and accounts of our club?

Mr Labovitch proposed a forum where we have the finance guy Brookfield to be quizzed on the accounts and Waggot I think to talk about the football side. If it happens hopefully it can be covered live by CWR.

I can absolutely see why ml would want CCc and/or acl there but whoever goes and especially cwr or telegraph need to keep plugging away at the financial questions for the club

Hi Wingy - I'm not sure the JR has been delayed. When the resubmission was approved I think the Council asked for an early date...

'James Goudie, the QC representing Coventry City Council, requested the judicial review could be scheduled sooner than the standard timescale given that the "ongoing uncertainty is not good for anyone on the ground."'

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sp...ws/sisu-wins-judicial-review-decision-6354042

As for Moz, Jan and Steve, I'm very glad they're not stepping down from the SCG. I think they were ambushed unfairly at the last meeting, but they've done the right thing and remained calm and not escalated the situation. I'm now hoping everyone else involved will behave like grown-ups.

Perhaps all of the the fans on the SCG (and they are all fans, after all) can show the other parties in the larger Ricoh dispute an example - sometimes you need to put aside personal issues for the greater good.

If Joy picked up the phone, called up ACL and said 'Yeah, this whole Northampton thing wasn't a good idea, I want to move the club back with immediate effect', what do you think would happen?

I suspect it's somewhat unlikely, but I think there's a deal to be done. Both sides would likely want an airtight contract given the trust issues, but at the moment surely it makes sense for everyone for CCFC to be at the Ricoh.

In fairness I'd like ACL to publicly repeat their best offer for a rental deal, so we can see for ourselves what's on the table. Certainly the £100k offer would put CCFC in a far better position financially (the £1.2m probably puts them in a better position than Sixfields financially!), but I want ACL to keep banging away so we can all see what SISU are up to.

Could still do it in time for the Wolves game and make as much money on the gate as we would in 10 at Sixfields, at least.

You're asking the wrong Tony. Don't worry grendull makes the same mistake all the time despite he's superior intellect.

Tell me, does skybluenicky still post on gmk? He was one of the few posters on there who use to post an opposing view. Typical little gmkers would close shop and start picking on every post by said poster. But he (assuming the poster is male) took it on the chin and kept posting right until it started being suggested that he lacked intelligence because he was of eastern European back ground. That is racism and I can't remember seeing skybluenicky post since.

Not too dissimilar from grendull belittling someones opinion on here yesterday by suggesting that he must know better as he is apparently on a huge salary and the other poster must be a road sweeper. So what if he is a road sweeper. Do you think your shit smells better grendull. He probably gives £500 a year to charity too. On a road sweepers wage that would make him a better person than you.

Great minds must think alike then as I did mention casual racism on gmk and lemon keeps asking me in reply to almost everything I post for details about it. I didn't realise that someone else had picked up on it too.

Yes tony and why did I say that? Due to continued and persistent sexist abuse by a poster who has form for abusing other supporters.

Do you condemn west end for his sexist remarks or does that sort of attitude resonate with you?

I think grendull gives as good as he gets, which I actually admire him for. He also seems to relish in it, hence he's the most frequent poster on here (or at least it feels like that) and he rarely ever posts on gmk. The difference here to gmk is you can actually have a debate as there is a mixed view on here. Try an opposing view on gmk they circle the wagons, gang up and belittle the opposing viewuuntil that poster gives up and stops posting. Hence they only have half a dozen regular posters and hence any thread struggles to get longer than a couple of pages.

It's a shame really. Although I only took the initiative to join a forum last year I've always viewed both as a means for keeping up with gossip for as long as I can remember and I always us to enjoy reading gmk.
