The letter to TF was sent direct two weeks ago, the reason we have sent it out as an open letter is to try and encourage a reply. We will gladly ask questions of other parties but we feel, like most on here we already know most answers.

On another note when I make comments on here they are often picked up but I am not and doubt I ever will be a Wasps fan, but I do enjoy good quality Rugby. Will I go to any games, yes if they do not not clash with City games?

it's a good letter, deserves a reply. Surely though if you've given a deadline at least wait until then before trying to put pressure on.

It comes to something when the fans largest represtatives group has to resort to doing this in an attempt to force a reply that should come willingly.

Still. I'm sure some posters will either find an excuse for Mr Fisher or continue to point in the Wasps/ACL/CCC/anyone else's direction as a distraction.

Is that what SISU are using to keep secret where our new stadium is going to be built?

Oh the irony indeed.

Trying to make an ironic point by ironically doing exactly what I suggested some would do. Nice one.

Why do they sponsor a London Rugby team now being based in Coventry?
I bet they will want to have the naming rights next wouldn't do it while City were there

Can he get free tickets

They only see what they want to see Steve.

If the Trust hadn't had Nick Eastwood as a speaker to answer the fans they would have slated you for that can't really win.

"Trust don't want to ask the Wasps questions" would have been the thread started by Nick or one of his Cronies.

Will he be there entertaining customers as a high flying Jaguar executive?

Next time he sell's all the old stock in one phone call (thats how good he is) will he get some tickets as a bonus?

In his capacity as a Jaguar high flying exec is he responsable for the distribution of the free tickets meaning he is actually doing more to promote Franchise RFC playing in Coventry than any of the posters on here who he takes great joy in bitching about for promoting (mainly in his own head) said Franchise RFC?

amongst others people who have met with Nick Eastwood regarding the Wasps move....

Steve Waggott
Steve Brookfield
Ann Lucas
Councillors left and right
Council officers
AEHC officers & Trustees
ACL directors
Compass management
ACL staff
Compass staff

The only ones to have facilitated a meeting at which the ordinary CCFC fans could tell him how they felt ..... the Sky Blue Trust.

Also two important omissions to that list ....... Tim Fisher and Joy Seppala ...... you might think they would figure prominiently wouldnt you? But to date apparently they have never contacted Eastwood

But here we go again ..... a thread primarily about the clubs owners plans for the future and perhaps its relationship with the largest fans group...... and we are talking about Wasps. Says so much about what has become of our club and what that has done to its fans

And here lies the problem Sisu have ripped out the Heart of this Club so all we can do is argue about shit day after day.
And we are still no nearer to the truth of it all.

Unfortunately a minority of fans cant accept who is responsible for the club.

As for trying to "hold ACL and Wasps to account" WTF is the point? Wasps are here now, they own the Ricoh and there is nothing that can be done about that.

This is what I thought would happen though. No one has any influence over the club whatsoever now, except Sisu. A few fans can't except that future failures and successes (lol) will be down entirely to Sisu.

Now we can either argue about who should be saying what and who did this. Or we can be holding the only people with any control of the club to account.

Why would any City fan not want the owners to explain future plans for their club?

They presumably wanted to know his thoughts on the matter, e.g. whether he is for cooperation with CCFC and trying to make them feel welcome, or has accepted that they are leaving and is moving on.

All parties in this mess? The other so-called parties are no longer there. They have cut their losses and left the stage. So now there is only SISU in this mess ( Wasps have only just got here - having an open day and relaying the pitch- for whatever reasons - are hardly great sins which could have further contributed to SISU's mess ).

tbf, it's not exactly the most confrontational of letters, so this thread's maybe a wee bit of a storm in a teacup

I'd have maybe left out the "City supporters do not want the team to move away from the Ricoh Arena" bit mind you. Some undoubtedly don't. Given the letter's asking for a spot of meat on the bones ref: a new stadium, I'd suggest it's safe to say that if they were forthcoming and answered satisfactorally that request, a fair few would get behind that rather than being subservient to the cuckoo now in the nest. So not sure the generalisation is... needed. It'd also help move the focus onto the club rather than its current landlords

But, hey, the actual requests for info are hardly revolutionary.

only thing i would say is that the comment is likely to be based on the recent surveys that the trust did so in that sense have an element of legitimacy. The letter like you say is hardly confrontational and not unexpected questions or questions that most of us are not asking

At this point in time the fans are putting more thought into what the club should/could do than those in charge. So frustrating.

The original letter from the trust is patronizing and poorly written in so much as it almost demands answers.
That is not the way you go about things if you want those questions answering.

The content of those questions are not in question themselves, we all want the answers but it simply is not business like in any way, smacks of amateurism and frankly can't be taken seriously when written in that tone.

That said the sentiment is there for all to see and I agree with that.
My complaint is that the trust are not helping if they want to sound like scolded children demanding why they can't have that new toy every time they visit the shops.
A concerted patient and considered request would much more likely get heard and responded to.

Why not start by suggesting a meeting to discuss the various issues at CCFC the trust supporters group represent on behalf of the fan base. Suggest a period, not unreasonable for such meeting to be agreed and make it in an open letter clearly stating it will be shared with the supporters group and for fans to see. Progress can only be made if you leave your own issues at the door when attending that meeting and not indicating your dissatisfaction before you have even heard the answers to your questions.

No preconceived ideas and be prepared to hear them out if you get that meeting granted. Be prepared with sensible questioning keeping it entirely on subject but never forget to try and empathise with the other side. You need to coerce a response. Being demanding no matter how discontent with their actions you are, will surely see the letter or any such meeting given short shrift!

It's a complex grown up world and you need to act accordingly.

As fans we want answers, we are fed up. Yes but you are none the less not entitled to answers anymore than asking Tesco why they made less this year unless you are a shareholder. As fans who share a passion for the club we need to remember football is a business sadly and if you don't like it then you will vote with your feet first and foremost.
It's in SISU's/the football clubs best interest to have a working relationship with any fan base representatives and I'm sure they will welcome that under the right and proper conditions. If they don't or elude you without reasonable excuse then you are already showing them up for what many think they are.

Patronising and poorly written look at you own essay.
When you are asking a spoilt child a question do it in a manner they understand so I would say it was written in the right tone.

I don't get this 'wrong tone' thing, SISU have been disrespecting the fans from day one, they don't deserve kid gloves treatment, they should start being be honest and open.
