Glad that the comparison with cash and support rich Southampton has been raised again.

Because we are envious of them.. They rejected SISU and look where they are.. We took them in our arms and all we have had from them is failure after failure.

So yes.. good comparison of what we could have had and only wish we had taken administration instead of being put to our swords thinking they would save us but only to be lied to.

No he has said it could be a good move for us.

Talking of bad tastes there is none worse then the taste Sisu have, yet we all find the time to speak to them.

So the Trust who on many occasions have tried to rebuild the bridges are now part of the problem.

FFS nick you are digging a bigger hole then you started in .

And how it is a great move for Coventry etc and justifying franchising of it.

Like I said, I think by default the club should be working with the trust, but on the other hand we all saw what happened with the haskell thing didn't we when they thought the trust were in on that?

So the council reply will be we never had and offer or contact with Sisu.
Which I believe has been mentioned before.

Ah yes, the old letter approach that will simply be ignored and nothing said of it again, another master stroke from the trust.. honestly what a complete and utter joke we have become, time for some real action starve the fuckers out they have no where to turn, no land, no stadium, no strategy, no real feeling for the club, no hope of the Ricoh, nothing.

Hey LB87ccfc. Whilst I don't agree with you that the letter approach is of no value, and I respect those in the trust as they are at least trying to help things change. I am really interested in how you will lead us in the action you describe.

I fully agree with your list of issues , no stadium, no land, no strategy etc. Could you please outline the key points in the Starve them out Strategy you suggest. I am traveling a lot but would be really interested if you are planning a meeting to engage like minded activist to your cause.

Have the trust written to the former owners of ACL and/or publicly criticised the wasps deal?

Because the chairman of the trust is putting in every post how good the Wasps move is?

Now I've said many times in the past theres no excuse for the way SISU have been with the trust with some of the things, but don't give them even more ammo by promoting Wasps coming here whenever possible.

Is it that hard to see the next excuse for not speaking to the Trust?

Edit: Of course People will have their own opinion away from the trust which they are entitled too, but it is easy to see the SISU excuse a mile off. I am not saying "you must agree with sisu so they talk to you". Maybe just don't make it so obvious Think of it like this, if somebody was protesting about you for months, shouting, banners etc (this isn't me saying it was wrong to protest) but then somebody else does the same thing and they are actually justifying it saying how good it is, would you want to speak to them? What taste would it leave? On that note I think of course the club should work with the Trust, but I think it should work both ways with bridge building.

Keep digging Nick.

Do you actually have anything constructive to say about the entire letter or are you just going to pick up on the one line you've taken to heart and slate anything to do with the trust while ignoring all the valid points thay we as fans deserve.

Still. Anything but point out SISU's short commings and your happy.

you are joking right? usual Trust rant, full of opinion, conjecture and point scoring. Club wont talk to trust as they have plotted against them in the past.
This needs to come from the 2000 members of the trust not an everchanging cabal at the top.

Trust needs to ;

1. Appoint a chairperson with some credibility and influence who can talk/mediate with the club - or else we will be stuck with that pointless oddball Jonathon Strange as the Voice of the Fans
2. Sort the membership out - Been 2 years since we all paid a pound - get everyone AND more to join - make it £2-5 and create a genuine membership base who can lobby/petition etc and have a realistic fighting fund.
3. Stop writing stroppy letters like this that will go straight in the bin
4. Have a media strategy - influence the telegraph, CWR etc
5. be more professional! stop being a tinpot bunch meeting in the backroom of a pub and get organised.

thanks.

Bollocks. This is just the usual AndreasB rant. Stop writing stroppy posts like this and people might have sympathy for some of your points.

Yeah, lets do that instead of holding our owners to account on the future of the club. That will get things moving onwards and upwards for sure.

Who said anything about doing it instead of holding our owners to account?

Why is it always an either / or with you? Can't people hold the club to account and be critical of the wasps deal?

What do you seriously expect to be gained by the trust writing a letter to the former owners of ACL?

We know what happened. Its what happens next is important surely?

What has that got to do with it? It would be nice to know what the present owners are planning. Why ask ex-landlords or new tenants, or criticise them when you want to know how CCFC are going forward? Just ask SISU what they are planning. They presumably have a business plan.

The trust should make a statement regarding wasps and they surely should oppose the move on principal. If wasps and ACL are not in the trust brief why are they guest speakers at their meetings?

What do you think is going to be gained by this letter? TF will give us the same BS we'll be no more informed than before.

Again, why couldn't the trust criticise and show their disappointment about the wasps deal? I'm talking specifically now, I'm talking about over the past 2 months. And I wasn't having a go, I was merely asking a valid question.

In fact did the trust write to Higgs in support of ccfc's bid employing higgs to really consider the future impact on the club before making a decision?

Errr. Because our fan base want to ask questions of them and the trust is the largests fans group.

Its a shame TF cant treat us with the same respect that Wasps have demonstrated wouldn't you agree?

That would be good here are a few questions for him

1 Why did Jaguar close Radford plant?

2 Why did Jaguar to all intents and purposes close Browns Lane?

3 Why did JLR decide to build their new engine plant in yam yam land?

If anybody has got any more then I'm sure a new thread could be started.

Nick
The letter to TF was sent direct two weeks ago, the reason we have sent it out as an open letter is to try and encourage a reply. We will gladly ask questions of other parties but we feel, like most on here we already know most answers.

On another note when I make comments on here they are often picked up but I am not and doubt I ever will be a Wasps fan, but I do enjoy good quality Rugby. Will I go to any games, yes if they do not not clash with City games?

It should have been done earlier before the deal was done.
Now is too late as it can change nothing and is a waste of effort.

They should concentrate on getting a plan from Sisu to move the club forward.
We need details on stadium location. We need to know what we are waiting for as we know it's not planning permission, yet.

We need details of finance options for the new stadium, we need ownership details and we need to know what incomes will come in and what will go out in relation to the club.

I suspect that the stadium talk up to now has been to get the value of ACL down and although it worked they miscalculated.
I'm hoping that it still goes on solely to make Wasps aware that we might be leaving if we don't get a good deal.
Do Wasps believe it ? Hopefully, but surely like us they need to see at least some land purchase.
Don't forget Wasps have been doing a similar play for land down south and have realised it takes 10 years for green belt.

Did the trust question most of what SISU have ever done? There has always been some on here wanting them to cuddle up to them and not ask questions so there could be dialogue between them.

The most important thing for us as things stand is find out if SISU have a plan C. Then we can see if we can help in any way. You don't need to be a scientist to work out why we have ended up where we are.
