Simon are you waiting until a local businessman ousts Seppalla and takes control of the club, just so you can use the headline - Byng Bong The Witch is Dead?

The biggest story out of this is only 21% of members could be arsed to vote.

Can't help but think the club is dead.

In the interest of fairness, can we get the Trust to get rid of the council as well?

What a surprise, I think we all understand that for a newspaper to exist it needs to draw traffic to it's ads and understand that (despite quite how ridiculous and annoying the cet site is with it's intrusive ads) but that simply isn't the case with a normal poster giving their views. I stand by what I wrote and no I don't think it should apply to newspapers and yes before you ask that includes Les Reid and the Observer.

The forum just couldn't exist if we all as arrogant as to think our views were so important that we could send people to another site to read them.

we all get the chance to vote out the council (though remember the vote was unanimous) we don't get the chance to get rid of sisu, other than to vote with our feet with the forlorn hope it will encourage a more speedy departure.

only if you also think the poll on here means only a few percent of people think pressley should be sacked, which is nonsense.

whole situation sums up why nothing will ever get done.
lack of willing for a significant majority to find or get behind any scheme to take things forward.

pointless poll by SBT as owners won't pay it any attention. not even a majority of SBT could be bothered to vote. .

Pointless ?. Surely they should be letting the owners know the feelings of the supporters.

As for "majorities", we dont even get the majority voting on who should run country, let alone a football club !

If they have it must be someone unwilling to pay the price. Someone who want the supporters to do the dirty job of decreasing the value of the club down to £1.

Ha ha ha ha, what do you think it's worth now? Your buddies have done a fine job of reducing the club to worthless already.

That is indeed the most telling thing in this poll and the most worrying.

we do get a majority expressing an opinion in an election - about 65% last time.
if people felt that strongly that the owners would listen to their opinion then more than 25% would have voted.
These are owners that didn't care when only a similar % of fans followed them to Northampton.

Well that will be them having to grovel at the next meeting, I'm sure the Londons supporters club massive will enjoy telling them off.

Stop being a drama queen. The club isn't dead at all. It's just something you and others throw around for dramatic effect.

We could also mention why The Trust can only get 2000 members.

As much as Fisher keeps saying the club is not for sale does anyone really think they wouldn't listen to a serious offer?

Probably is of concern though, that at the club's lowest point (until the net one!), and life membership a whole pound (so nobody leaves the membership numbers unless they ask to) theTrust still has under 3,000 members.

Why that is could be all sorts of reasons, but it doesn't sit well. Forget the personalities and their policies, but it's safe to say many of us on this board count as members having signed up at some point. Where the hell were the rest of them, though.

It also won't sit well that next to nobody will go to the meeting tonight. I couldn't do better, that's why I don't, but if we can only muster up 30-odd who can get to a meeting, and only 600-odd prepared to have a say, it doesn't help suggest anything other than apathy.

If anybody cares, and I seriously doubt they do, here are my thoughts on the Trust's stance.

But that's just another way of saying dying.

Does it really matter anyway? I'm sure both of us have better things to do than discuss definitions of the English language.
