Some alleged eyewitnesses who were around Trump in the '90s told Vice in 2019 that the former reality star has had a drink before, with one nightclub bartender identified as Laraby telling the media outlet that he had personally served Trump alcohol. "He would order light beer. It was usually Miller Lite or Bud Light,"

Michael Ault, the owner of two lounges Trump frequented in the '90s, also told Vice that alcohol was not foreign to Trump.

"He was drinking champagne or vodka, a liquor and not really a beer so much, but I could be wrong on the beer, I just never saw him with one,"

Well I suppose at least Trump takes you back to US Foreign policy of Kennedy and Nixon. Its overt and its blatent.

The US has always believed in Super Power strength. This is just overt and not a pretence that there is any interest that matters other than that of the US

Say what you want about Trump but he’s never touched alcohol so I seriously doubt that he’s a powder monkey. As for calling him a Pedo - I’d say not quite. Probably in his 40s/50s/60s dealt with a fair few 18-25 year olds which is properly seedy in modern western culture but not illegal. Calling him a fat drug addled pedo is incorrect.

All that said, his rowing back on Epstein is unsavoury - who is he protecting? His foreign policy is controlled by Netanyahu and is costing lives unnecessary. My conclusion is that he is somehow compromised or being threatened.

He’s still better than Biden. Or Starmer.

tbf from all the stories and bits folks are sharing, it doesn't sound like he drinks at all. I get he lies about everything but the booze thing seems legit. He might have made himself incontinent by smashing loads of drugs - prescribed or not - but I don't think there's a 'Trump drinks!' gotcha doing the rounds.

Most likley that he doesn't drink now but has in the past. But as with everything the truth isn't enough and he has to be the 'best' at everything so its morphed into he's never touched a drop.

I wouldn't be surprised if he believes half the shit he comes out with to be true.

The Trump film (The apprentice) is worth a watch for those that haven’t seen it. Indicates he’s taken amphetamines (and similar) for a while. The U.S. love their prescription meds so probably on other stuff. Would imagine they would take their toll mentally

He was 35 when his brother died of alcoholism. So it's not beyond the realms of possibility that trump had drank at some point from 21 (maybe younger) until his brother's death. It was the late 60s and 70s.

Right now all he consumes is Diet
Coke and burgers, but if you’re telling me the draft dodging Trump who bragged that his Vietnam was spent ‘avoiding venereal disease’ didn’t touch any alcohol, I don’t believe it.

The level of corruption is mind boggling. The crypto stuff alone is staggering amounts of money and all in plain sight. It does make you think they must be confident the law will never apply to them…

Even doing stuff at Mar-a-Lago is just ripping money off the taxpayer.

It costs the US government something like $3 million every time anything happens there - press conferences, meetings etc etc

It's partly because he's too fucking lazy to travel to Washington and prefers the comfort of his own home, but also because he'll get a nice cut of that $3m each time.

Literally robbing the population in plain sight and half of them think he has their best interests at heart

Estimated Trump family businesses have "raked" in over $4.5 billion of investment etc from foreign govts/businesses since he retook office. eg UAE invested over $2bn in Trump crypto business.

I think this may be correct. Trump almost certainly doesn't drink (could you imagine if he did, it would be frightening to think about actually). I saw an interview with him some time ago that's actually a good watch.

They already do what they want…

As if you say that unironically whilst there’s a war in Ukraine. China ripped up the deal they had with the UK over Hong Kong and has backed several coups itself, typically after they take power see examples in Myanmar, Africa and even propping up Maduro in Venezuela.

Even most critics of Israel will say they do what they want despite condemnation.

US intervention in Venezuela actually changes nothing. We’re already in the global world where the major powers do whatever they want. The narrative that this will embolden authoritarian regimes is nonsense.

The notion that China or Russia - both of whom were created with an ideology that resulted in the death and torture of millions of its own citizens and a desire to spread its influence by force over decades - suddenly have decided to let the shackles loose as the former Apprentice host Donald J Trump is now President is genuinely the most ridiculous thing I’ve read amongst all the nonsense on this subject

People who won’t be swayed by a bit of arse licking at the White House and don’t humiliate their allies in front of the press? Yeah.

It’s a low bar, but Trump is the worst to ever hold the office.

Russia literally declared war on Ukraine twice when Obama and Biden were in office…

The guy literally warned Europe that it was too reliant on Russian energy in his first term, he was laughed at until the Ukraine war started and then the penny dropped.

I don’t like Trump’s stance on Ukraine, but fully believe the conflict wouldn’t have happened on any strong US President’s watch. Biden was as weak as they come on foreign policy.

No one can seriously say Biden was a more effective president on foreign policy than Trump or any President since Bush Jr.

Come off it. You made stuff up about Afghanistan and now you're doing it about Ukraine. Biden wasn't exactly strong on Ukraine, but he at least provided weapons, both paid for and granted, and never demanded a cut of Ukraine's mineral wealth for his ongoing support.

As for China, Trump's tariff war isn't shifting the dial much on their export economy, which is stronger and more diversified than ever, and he soon backed down when China threatened to restrict access to rare earths.

Biden at least promised that the US would defend Taiwan; Trump, as with Ukraine, is only prepared to sell them weapons if they can pay for them.

He's basically a classic bully in every sense - happy to push around weaker countries, but backs off when someone stands up to him. China is probably delighted to be dealing with such a weak, incompetent, and corrupt, fuckwit, ditto Putin.

If it is truly a great game, Trump is playing a terrible hand - alienating his allies and encouraging his enemies. Not exactly the actions of a stable genius.
