She'll be standing next election, no doubt.

Clinton will be standing, but it'll be no election now he's older.

Which is (barely) still enough to win. Trump will take it to the courts and it’ll be interesting to see how fair and impartial all those conservative judges are. The real nightmare would be a tie which isn’t possible now.

I guess it’s a tie if most of your footballing contributions are about Kenny Jackett and slagging players who go on to have good games almost immediately after.

The BBC have slipped this into their rolling news feed. Not something I was expecting to read.
Oregon has become the first US state to decriminalise the possession of hard drugs, including cocaine and heroin.

Seems likely that Biden will top 270. Not out of the question that he will end up flipping Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia. Which would be the best result of any candidate not named Obama this century. If all those states could actually get their shit together and report votes on election night like Florida, we could have avoided 15 pages of drivel from people proclaiming the death of the Democratic Party.

If they tie I'm not sure what the Supreme Court can do? The 12th Amendment states the house of representatives picks the winner if there is a tie and there is precedent where they used this amendment before (were they picked the bloke who finished 2nd)

If Biden wins, the only way Trump's turning up to the inauguration is if he can get a suicide vest in XXXL

I only just realised Jo Jorgensen on the Libertarian Party is a woman and has used her liberties to have plastic surgery to look like a cat.

On the Supreme Court I didn’t mean they would try to deny Biden outright but Trump would try to get votes chalked off that cost him a state

There was a lot of uproar on the news today from both ends of the political spectrum regarding their performance. I think there could be a shake up of that particular industry on the way

The nationals are OK. But the state polling is just terrible. Would be really interested to know why cos here when YouGov or whoever do constituency level stuff it tends to be OK.

I mean there’s no incentive to have a wrong poll result, I can only assume large amounts of herd following.

Trumps team are claiming they will win all the states if the "legal" votes are counted so it looks they are preparing to go down the Biden didn't really win route.

No it’s a conspiracy with the media even though it favours Trumps underdog narrative.

Is it me or is anyone enjoying the remote possibility that BBC News may be the first trusted news agency to announce the next President of America.

Lots of reports emerging of Trump supporters deliberately blocking roads near polling stations in California, New Jersey and New York in an attempt to stop people voting. Shameful if true. #imagineiftheleft...

Was always going to happen.
It's exactly why trump has to go. You can't have a president who stirs up these kind of people.

As one of his ex staff said today, if a contender is some dodgy African country acted like he has during an election the UN observers would be all over it

not a surprise. He basically endorsed the tactic when he criticised the FBI for investigating people trying to block Biden's bus.
really has sunk to a new low this election with some of the advertsing. campaigning, divisiveness.

Coupled with Biden being “escorted” out of Texas by armed red necks in full view of the police you have to say that they have a point. Trump said they did nothing wrong.

The latest betting;

Trump is averaging 4-1
Biden's averaging 2-11

Seems it is slowly sorting itself out.

These are the widest odds I have seen

I don't agree with people who say Biden's support will riot if he loses but even if they did there's no way you could say that Biden had incited or encouraged them, that's the difference but Trumps been at it for years.

It's just not right for the leader of a civilised western democracy to behave like that.
It's the sort of shit you'd expect from a nut case like Duterte

Said bribart about Wisconsin. Funnily enough it turns out not to be true. 3.6M registered voters, 3.2M votes.
