Listening to him go on in the unedited TV footage isn't that different to Biden. The stuff about Hunter Biden's bathroom was hilarious.

He either doesn’t understand how tariffs work or doesn’t care how it will affect US citizens (or both).

Yes some US manufacturers may benefit a little (and that’s debatable), but US citizens are going to be bearing the brunt of the inevitable price increases.

There’s also the speed at which the US could ramp up their domestic manufacturing with limited reliance on external raw materials. All well and good (well, it’s not, but just a turn of phrase) trying to make your domestic produce more competitive but if you don’t have capacity to support the demand it’ll just bring everything to a halt.

It’s all a bit of a balancing act of whether the US imports are more ‘necessary’ than their exports. Without knowing the balance of trade, I’d suggest that “electricity” (lol) is going to trump anything they’re exporting. May be wrong.

Fair to say the USA needs more stuff than canada does the other way but if USA doesn’t but the stuff is there another market Canada can sell to?

I read somewhere that Canada is the only country capable of supplying the amount of potash that america needs for fertilising their crops. Trump really doesn't seem to think about stuff in much depth does he.

So , not far how far this has progressed given the date. A Coup?

Suggesting that the US election result was statistically impossible.

Is it an age thing? I’m constantly skeptical about 99% of things. The other bit…whatever percentage it really is, I’m not sure…

You definitely get more cynical with age. Stopped trying to change the world and given up on the theory that the CIA killed Marilyn Monroe and Bob Marley.

Musk calls on US to quit NATO, stop paying for defense of Europe

Trump said he told NATO allies that if they’re not going to pay their bills, he won’t defend them.

Ironic really given the only time that Article 5 has been invoked was when Europe came to the US' aid.

Hard to keep track to be fair.

Tariffs...no tariffs, increase the tariffs, pause the tariffs, it's Ukraine's fault, maybe it's not Ukraine's fault and the ball is back in Russia's court, double the tariffs, reduce the tarrifs...umm, what's a tariff?

Too easy, again do you not having better things to be doing than sitting on here 23 hours a day?

I actually worked it out.

It's around 2 hours a day and that's in total, because I flit and look on here sporadically throughout the day.

23 hours? That's a Trumpist exaggeration. And I wouldn't expect anything less from you.
