It has no relevance. What do you want to happen? A massive anti corruption effort during war time? They want EU membership and corruption measures are part of that. Corruption has dropped significantly since Zelensky took over. The only reason to mention it is to try and make a case for not sending Ukraine weapons “because they’re corrupt”.
