I thought the applause and tribute (on the screen etc) for the 3 Army lads killed in action, at the Ricoh on Saturday, was really nice. All us Stewards wore black arm bands, as did the players etc, and it was quite an emotional moment with the whole crowd applauding and having the pictures on the screen.
Terrible news about them in the first place and it just puts things into perspective that we may get passionate about 11 over-paid people on a football pitch every weekend but there are people out there who know what it means to be brave and to be a hero.
