Having him on trial certainly makes it look as if our game is going to revolve around wing play.

Seems he is trying to bulk up the Under 23s squad with them all having potential to play in the first team. Yesterday a lot of the younger players were involved and there are a decent amount of friendlies for them too. Armstrong would be another Westbrooke/Bouma type signing for me

It's a good idea, it brings the u23 closer to the first team so they can all make the step up.

I agree its a good idea. We are sometimes blinded by the 'one of our own' type players, assuming they are better than they actually are. This way we can sign younger players of a higher level but just needing a break.

Does seem to be players coming in with an eye on one or two years down the line. First time that's happened here for a while.
