You can all relax. It was the caravan club and they have gone. Not there, gates locked. Which suggests that it was never a problem.

As I work over the road at tesco's they were there for two days.When I arrived at 8am today they were there but on leaving at 4pm they were gone.

I have known a few over the years. They are like anyone else. Some good. Some bad. Some work for a living. Some go round ripping people off.

Does anyone remember when they landed in Spon End years ago? I was visiting at the time. One of them put a pool cue over the head of a landlady I have known since I was a kid. There was trouble every day. And lots of it. But most of the time they keep the trouble amongst themselves.

They have just been removed from where I live. Left a right mess. If they never caused trouble and cleaned up after themselves people wouldn't mind them as much. But they don't most of the time.

The irony of travellers, yes they want to travel its in their blood but they want to stay here (ie meridan) permanently or anywhere else they choose, they hate to be moved on as they have to travel
