I know they were in lake view park last week, they have moved up to the fields at the back of Keresley grange school.
Apparently they broke down a metal post to access the fields.
It's a cat and mouse game every summer they'll be on Keresley green by next week

They were up by the A45 between the Kenilworth Road and the flats by the Phantom, seemed to move on sharpish though.

I hate how every fricken field has to have a massive dirt mound round it now to stop them. Why can't we have nice things?

Not really helping matters, but that's one good thing about living on the Isle of Wight. No travellers! Two main reasons. 1) They wouldn't pay the cost of the ferries, which for a caravan being towed behind a van would be around £660. and 2) The ferry companies actually have notices in the boarding area stating that "no groups of two or more caravans will be accepted to travel to the Isle of Wight." This being the obvious, meaning that if a moving company was transporting holiday caravans then that would be different.

The annual gypsy fair (not sure the actual name of the event) was in Kenilworth last weekend. Probably the only time each years there's bouncers in every pub in Kenilworth.

It always makes me wonder............ if they are "travellers", then are their vehicles taxed, insured and MoT'd? Surely you need a permanent address to do these? If this is correct, why aren't their vehicles taken away and crushed?
