Official coach from Bedworth was a joke turned up an hour late then with traffic didn’t get to Wembley until 3.00 so missed any pre match atmosphere. Sat in the coach park until 9.30 afterwards so didn’t get back until 12.

Long and heartbreaking trip

It will be different when the dust settles I'm sure, but at the moment I'm actually thinking if we get there next year I'll watch it in Cov.

They didn’t need to make it a 4.45ko with no other matches on as always potential to go all the way. Was definitely worth staying over - mate stayed at the IBIS at Wembley and it meant we could have drinks there before the game. We got the train back to Marylebone and walked straight on to it, so very quick back to our hotel.

Well we managed to get on to a train at Watford, 9:37 I think.
The train was packed with no room for anyone else, but the lads by the door took pity on us when they saw I was with daughter and grandkids ( thanks lads I will be forever grateful
There was NO room on the train,so how we got I I still don’t know.
We were crammed in the doorway, and couldn’t move.
So if you are one of those guys, thanks again I owe you one. So if one of your mates tells you this story in the future, say the grandad said thank you.

Well so much for bigging up the trains - all cancelled and then a vague rumour that one was going at platform 5 - barriers locked and over a thousand there. Gates open and people stampeding to get on - women having to hold kids who were screaming in terror.

Train was rammed. Toilets not working. Still let people on on other platforms. Kids sleeping on the floor. Got back into Coventry eventually around 12.30

Didn't travel by train but if we get to Wembley again either:

A nominated driver and there and back the same day
Drive to a hotel, stay over and drive back the next day

Couldn't think of anything worse than going by train

I went by train.

Absolutely fine getting there but horrific getting back.

Ended up on a replacement coach which got back to Cov about 2.30am, it was fucking awful.

First time I’ve not just gone to the green man then walked down. So didn’t realise how much of an absolute shambles in and around Wembley is for trying to get a beer.

Yeah it was a nightmare - obviously I get why they changed it, but it was a lot better when you could just hang around outside with a load of cans. Ended up cramming into a Mexican restaurant and a Black Sheep Coffee (?!) just to get a beer ffs.

The stewards and organisation around Wembley was fucking shite. Was in a queue for 45 mins trying to gain entry. Over zealous searches and a so called supervisor who said to start we couldn’t enter through other gates and walk round the concourse to our block. Wankers !
we’ve got Carlisle and Stockport fans in our hotel…..why wasn’t that played up North …..Oh yes ££££££…..all to London.

Were you the clown at the coffee place who put his finger through the device at the bottom of the glass - seemed shocked it all came out and had to then try and neck it down in one?

Everyone in the country knows that the new stadium should have been built by the NIA/NEC .
Cheaper to build, all transport links available, middle of the country etc.
But it was never going to move from London ,bastards think it’s England and the rest of us don’t exist.
