Would i be correct in thinking that the transfer window opens after the world cup ends? So we potentially only have a few more games before we get a change to strengthen, or face the possibility of losing a couple?

I make it 7 games before the window opens. 12 before it closes.

This is why we need to see Palmer O’Hare and Vik together before two of them get sold.

The premier league doesn't resume until 26th December, Championship on 10th December. Sunderland v Millwall is on 3rd December for some reason

Because we’re skint and both nearly went in the summer.

Oh wonderful another thread where we can argue about how we're going to lose everyone, not replace them and end up relegated.

We all know your angle here @Greggs . We haven't had a good transfer rumour in a while, what have you heard?

It's a perfectly reasonable concern to have isn't it?

I mean literally everyone said about O’Hare. The deal was only scuppered by injury, surely you’re not denying that?

Vik there were rumours he wanted off, and frankly I’d be amazed if no one comes in for him considering the firm he’s showing.

He'll be in demand, for sure. He's probably got to the lucky position where he can stay put if he doesn't fancy any of the clubs who come in for him mind you, and can wait until the summer for the right team.

Shame Potter didn't seem bothered about losing him at Brighton, or we could encourage Chelsea to spunk a fortune...

Everyone other than O’Hare, his injury was on the eve of the season I’d have thought if he had wanted to go it would have been earlier than that his injury was just a coincidence
Same with Vik, they are likely to move on one day that’s the modern game but it will be of their choosing and not I hope by Sepalla, Fisher or Boddy

Robins himself said he expected O'Hare to be a Burnley player if he hadn't got injured.

Yes, the "for some reason" comment was meant for the Sunderland V Millwall game. It must be a re-arranged fixture as it's a Saturday and the only Championship game on that day.
