or lack of it, with city.!

Does seem to be getting quite frustrating/annoying.. There seems to be a bit of movement around league, i know the loan window is going to be open and we can probably get a few decent loans in, but there seems to be nothing happening with the club today. Im hoping we get at least someone today. I hear we had a bid turned down by Preston for Lonergan. But would be nice to end the day with someone through the door

It would give us all a little bit of a lift if something happens..

Come on Aidy, a few of the fans are starting to lose abit of faith in you, i havent lost faith. Just wish we keep hold onto our better players, and get some in!

We made a bid of 500k for Andy Lonergan but it was rejected.

What we need is Freddy Adu! Aidy, if you're reading this - go and get him for next season - he would love it at the Ricoh!! Can't believe he's now on loan in Turkey!

feeling even more annoyed now!!! we let a promising youngster go out on loan to liverpool and we still dont have anyone in, Im sure Aidy said he had no other option but to play Thomas because we had no one else, thats a strange one! Who is it going to be in the middle now? Clingan i believe is injured, so i think we are f**ked really i think ranson needs to take his finger out of his arse and put it in his pocket so we can strengthen we dont actually have any backup now...

I've lost all faith in SISU... Only club in the Championship without a player coming in in January (but going the other way) and no loan players, and only one phone call away from losing our goalkeeper... IT'S A FUCKING JOKE!!!

Is it really the worst thing in the world if Kieran goes? Yes he's got to be one of our best players, but he's made it clear he doesn't want to be with us long-term and we could get £2mil for him. £2mil?! That's a massive amount for us, the last player we sold for that much was McSheffery I think? £2mil could buy us a pretty decent replacement I think.

Plus we're not gonna get into the play-off's I don't think so Kieran's gonna go for free in the summer anyway

Hmmm it is quiet. Watching Sky Sports news and not even if a sniff of Westwood on there.

I think you're forgetting about Scott Dann and Danny Fox.

Just heard on twitter that, Delph and Howard moves collapsed due to wage demands... don't know how much truth is in it

So I am, well still. £2mil is a lot and it's a hell of a lot more than we'll get in the summer.

Anyone reckon the complete lack of interest (so far) will make Keiran think twice about his contract? I mean like these clubs are obviously just waiting to get him for free so hopefully he'll think he's not gonna be be top priority wherever he goes, otherwise they'd have done something by now surely? Or is that just wishful thinking :|

Sorry, who's the Howard guy being mentioned?

Disappointed that we can't throw the cash out for a player who should benefit the team in Delph.

Also, I believe that a proportion of any potential transfer fee would have to go to Carlisle...which wouldn't exactly give us the ideal cash for a replacement.

Yes yes, i understand everyone is annoyed that we didnt bring anyone in this transfer window but we should have the quality not to get in a relagation scrap again, and this same group of players not 2 months ago were high in the play offs. I know its a series of ifs and buts, but there is no reason why Coventry cant go on a little run and find themselves hunting promotion again, agauin the same can be said for a relegation fight, but why be pesimistic for once...

Money is this clubs downfall, the board are trying to keep this club out of trouble with the debt collectors so are unwilling to spend any money at all, while all the players demand high wages and clubs demand overvalued prices for players. Unfortunately for us the only result of this is us lingering around in the football league going nowhere.

Unless that is if some rich man from the east comes in, but then again every other club is looking for thier man in a dress, on a donkey with lots of gold :-(

Shame you didn't specify as to which team you meant

Tonight showed why it would have helped to bring in reinforcements...
