And the very earliest we could come out of the embargo will 30th August.

Aren't all of our trialists, deliberately I assume, are free agents? So the transfer window is irrelevant. It's not like we would be paying a fee for anyone!

True enough, but do we need a bit more than trialists? Everybody else's cast offs..

Free transfers aren't automatically unwanted castoffs.

Not really. A player might be on a free because they're shit, but players aren't necessarily shit because they're on a free. The notion of 'castoffs' has a negative connotation that has no real place in a struggling team in the deepest realms of League One.

Moussa was a free cast off, he was a good acquisition.

Fisher and Appleton have repeatedly claimed that Holdings own the players registrations.

Holdings is not in administration.

Holdings could have submitted their overdue accounts and then gone into the transfer market.

For some reason they haven't. Can't think why.

If SISU agree the new rent deal, they will be able to use the money set aside for the new stadium to invest in the playing squad. So we should be able to spend £20-£30m on new players. Right, or have I missed something?

Exactly. And he was awful in half of his games. What's that, a 1 in 10 success rate (if that) last season? Brilliant, just how you build a promotion challenging team..

SISU have plenty of money, they just don't wish to spend it on us. We're just their dirty little failure to balance off the taxes on their other ventures.
