BNC was the only player that showed up in the first half of the final.. but to say he was the best player over the course of the game would be a stretch.

If he didn’t get injured, Hamer’s second half performance alone would’ve won us the game in 90 minutes

Admittedly I haven’t watched it back but I remember him being a defensively liability in the first half with all of their best attacks coming down their side.

Tbf I thought BNC w as very good in the semis, especially the away leg, just don’t agree he was that good at Wembley.

Would be good to bring him back for continuity stakes, but also think we can do better.

As has been said already this month on here, a majority of our intake will probably be loans. And as likely feeder clubs and managers are only just starting up preseason (especially those in the Prem), it'll be a few weeks before they decide who to ship out or keep close to the first team. Robins also likes to get his squad sorted early so if we get 2, 3 or 4 within the next week or so, I think that's the core of our squad resolved. Any more will be the loans to fill gaps or put pressure on our lower performers. But I bet it won't be the end of the arrivals (or departures).

Oh absolutely, I'm chill about it.

I am slightly worried about how many new players we'll be chucking in right from the off. Think we may end up having a slow start, but hopefully the fans will be patient. Have an inkling (as do others on here) the football is going to be a bit different to what we were seeing end of last season.

Squad is starting to look decent. Not a lot of clutter left around that you wouldn't want anywhere near the team and everyone we've bought in is potentially a starting 11 player.
