Club looks to have reinvested around 25 million (including add ons ) back into the playing side , is that correct

More than that I think if you include add ons:

Wright: £9m
Simms: £8m
Kitching: £5m
MvE: £3.5m
Thomas: £2m
Sakamoto: £1.5m
Latz: £0.5m
Collins: £0.6m

that’s £30.1m by my count. Something like £23m without add ons.

I just think his valuation means very little in this case

He looks shit when playing Salah and co, would probably be quality in the championship.

Yes I know he’s not a realistic signing.

Simms wasn’t £8m, Wright was £7.7m.

Wright fee was €9m or £7.7m based on the exchange rate at that time

Not convinced we’ve increased the add ons to £5m for Kitching. Reckon it more likely we kept it at 4 and increased the sell on %

The club haven't said everything is done yet have they?

Unless they've pulled a secret signing out the hat without anyone knowing it's safe to assume that's business done. Andy Turner has said that's it concluded.

But we haven’t paid those add ons and might never?

They’re probably stuff like top scorer, promotion etc.

Sigh, clubs don't need to say "undisclosed" anymore, just put "worth up to" and fans will be completely baffled. Add the Euro exchange rate too and you can forget about it.

Based off of previous windows you’d say it’s strange they’ve not said it. But I don’t think there can be anyone else coming in now without any leak earlier. Only thing could be an exit.

Wright was £7.7m. It’s good to see we’ve invested so much this window, overall I’d say it’s a 8/10 window.

In terms of improving the squad in the long term, we’d be looking at:
- 1 CB
- 1 RWB
- 1-2 CMs
- 1 striker

Bearing in mind we lost Hamer and Gyokeres in the same window, that’s an incredible turn around.

OK I’m sure I read that and I’m not going mad but now I can’t find it so take with a pinch of salt.

Although they are posting it exactly on round numbers (5 past, 10 past) so maybe automated and everyone’s gone home.

Fucks sake. Read the thread before jumping in. Evo asked what we’d spent including add ons. So I added it up.

If we pull the LCB we've been after all summer and a decent midfielder preferably on perm but even on loan, then yes would be an ok days work.

I think Lati will now move up to DM which would make sense. You don’t sign a player for a quoted £5m to have him on the bench.
One thing I like about our signings this summer is they are very versatile and can cover various positions, onwards and upwards!

Yeah my bad

Still, somewhat redundant to be discussing add ons as if we’ve spent that money this window.

Yeah my fag packet mystic Meg maths has us at about £29m in and about £23/24m out, so hopefully still enough left for a decent signing in a future window.
