Apparently had quite a mixed season at Blackpool, don’t think their fans were that happy with him

I know he had a few injuries, I think he did his ankle early doors.

Probably doesn't help that he's a footballer in a team of cloggers.

I'm sure I saw reports that Arsenal are looking to sell him with a buy back option. I'd snap him up if possible, as mentioned he is a ball player so can't judge him too harshly in that Blackpool team

If Kelly signs we don't really need another defensive midfielder

In an ideal world I'd agree ...but are we going to get more than 15 games out of him due to injuries

Brilliant, really? I would reserve that word for Hamer and Gyokeres. People seem to be extreme about Bidwell either pro or against.
I don't think that's the case. I'd say the most common words I've seen used on here to describe Bidwell were 'solid' and 'dependable'

Well those are the sort of words I would use about him, but there's a lot in the NW camp who think he was brilliant all season and some who think he is poor.

With an interest from sporting Lisbon for Viktor if we could get the muted €17m ( euros) plus Daniel braganca as a make way , that would be a brilliant deal. If your not familiar with him, 24yo attacking midfield valued at €5m (bargain), very quick, brilliant skills, two footed could just see him and Callum O'Hare ruling that division next year. Check him out on you tube.

Not according to WhoScored or wiki both of which say he started 6 games in 2021-22 and none at all on 2022-23.

How do people feel about the Da Silva signing? With him struggling to break into the Bristol side for parts of the season it doesn’t fill me with much hope he’s going to be what we need. Sounds like there are some good options out there and we’ve gone and got an old Chelsea link player.
George Cox on this list looks good, Buchanan would have been another good one to go for too. Burrows with 8 assists and only 21 yrs old could have been a good one to develop too.
Just interested to hear if people are excited about Da Silva or not.

3 left-backs Coventry City should weigh up amid links with Bundesliga man News: The72 - Football League News

Coventry City were linked with a move for Werder Bremen's English left-back Lee Buchanan over the weekend.

One thing that I do like seeing is that a lot of the players we sign or linked with have played for England at youth levels.

Doyle, BNC, Panzo, Buchanan, Da Silva… that’s always pleasing to see but yeah I’m not so excited about the Da Silva signing so far… time will tell

Agreed.

Palmer looked an uninspiring signing based on his stint at Bristol City - don't think we should look too much into that based on their coaching set up.

We may see parallels where Da Silva has a slow start to the season (as he gets used to the system) but starts to look really good in the second half of the season.

Sounds if the Bristol fans speak highly of him and not very happy he is leaving, think I’ll trust Robins on this one.
