Apparently defender Wes Harding from Rotherham is leaving on a free and we were reported as one of his suitors. Age is 26, can play multiple defensive positions and can take long throw-ins. Might be a decent pickup.

Jamie Allen got a semi reading that !!

They can get more money elsewhere, Luton aren't going to be throwing cash around like mad, they want the money for the new ground etc.

Don't think any of ours will go there. More just the question of why players would go there now.

Cardiff had a couple of players who impressed me - I'd be looking at trying to buy the latter two, but Villa won't let the other go.
If Gus goes, that Nakamba )from Villa) at Luton might be available on loan?

Philogene (on loan from Villa)
Sory Kaba (on loan from Midtjylland )?!?)
Kipre (on loan from West Brom)

Finn Azaz could be of interest. 22y/o Villa player who has spent the season at Plymouth. 34 games, 8 goals & 8 assists.

Kipre and Kaba are good shouts, I've mentioned the latter on another thread.

A wing back that might be worth looking at is Ethan Laird. Not a great season last year with QPR, but he looked really good previously at Swansea. Got a feeling BNC might come back though - I think MR rates him.

Looks like a good chance we could sign McNally and Da Silva, while I agree with those mentioning Simms. Him and Kaba up front would go some way to making up for the loss of Gyokeres.

Llias Chair from QPR always looked a very decent player. Probably cost a bit though.

Chelsea are about to let about 50 people go - we could be onto a winner.

That Lampard lad could do a job in midfield if Gus goes.

Auston Trusty, left-sided CB on loan at Birmingham from Arsenal? Got player of the season for them. I remember him being a bit of a standout from what I saw. We might have also enhanced our relationship with Arsenal considering we took Ben Sheaf off them + BNC got a lot of game time, with both players improving considerably since joining us

DaSilva is definitely coming in
McNally is joining on a permanent
Cresswell joining IF we sell Hamer or Gyokeres

Think we almost got him here before he went to Millwall where he did very well I believe, I’d think now though Leeds will keep him they were dog shit defensively.
