I'd like to think Simon Gilbert wouldn't big this up for Leon's departure, I might be wrong but I have more faith in the CT then that.

I am annoyed about this though, the kid had so much potential and has wasted away a good chance.. After his Twitter outburst he deserves to go and probably will end up in League 2.

We understand that one of the options he is pursuing is a loan deal for Aston Villa’s Nathan Delfouneso

He would be decent.

9 goals in 98 games so far

Any word on how much the offer is? If its less than 750k I will be annoyed, would have hoped for a million but that was a tad optimistic

I think he'll be lucky to stay in professional football. His attitude stinks.

I was watching the Class of '92 the other day (about the Utd youngsters who all came through at once - Beckham, Scholes etc), and their old coach Steve Harrison talked about the players who didn't make it. One of them was the youth team captain and Harrison thought he had a big future in the first team - but he simply didn't have the attitude.

Can't say i blame him for going. Who in there right mind would want to play for this shower of shit.

Our club is a farce.

Hopefully we'll one day have owners with ambition who'll be able to build a half decent squad.

You're still a twat though leon for refusing to play last night.

If Leon Clarke was playing for wolves and was tapped up by us and offered a big signing on fee and a pay rise he'd do the same to get here. You know what you get with Leon I'm afraid.

Wolves director, apparently, we cut the asking price in order we could pursue our own targets.

Basically what I was alluding to in an earlier post. Time was getting tight and we were no longer in the stronger position.
He wanted to leave, and we need people in.

Maybe you could go with him? Just a thought.

Who would have thought someone with the loyalty of Leon Clarke would ever do something like this. Must be the clubs fault.

I know what you're saying but its a piss take that for one reason or another we never manage to keep anyone.

Every season its the same shit.
