Apart from the fact that we are in Adminstration and Otium have not filed their accounts on time everything on the playing side looks so rosy!! This is the third close season running with a transfer embargo. RIP

Yes but remember the Embargo is due to the actions of ACL and the council. Without them there would be no embargo

Were under a transfer embargo because we are still in administration until a CVA has been agreed. Then it will take few weeks for everything to be settled and accounts filed. This is not a pro SISU post, we've been restricted year after year.

I thought this embargo started due to lack of accounts not admin. AFAIK admin ha changed nothing.

The transfer embargo is a FL rule and, as we are all aware, FL rules can be changed to suit the needs of the football club owners.

I would not be surprised if the embargo is lifted due to "exceptional circumstances".

ffs, we are under an embargo because our accounts first weren't submitted on time and second still haven't been submitted. Being in admin, another reason for an embargo, or is it, came months later. The FL have in their power to allow players to sign in certain circumstances, they did so with Pompey. The question may be asked after Mondays creditors meeting.

they will allow transfers if and when the number of squad players drops past a certain level. can't remember who classes as a squad player but I think you only have to be on the bench a couple of times to be counted hence why Pompey refused to put their younger players on the bench last season.

pretty sure the bomb squad players will be counted so I can't imagine we're going to drop below that level.

Quite right. I'm not convinced that exiting administration would lift the embargo as TF suggests because I understand multiple companies in the Coventry City Group are late in filing accounts.

I've heard that SISU are about to file the outstanding accounts which should help lift the embargo................................trouble is the accounts are likely to be filed in the Cayman Islands.

Paul Appleton's report stated Admin will last until October/November at least. Not a great situation is it?!

CJ, is the ground share dependent on coming out of admin?

I believe this isn't the case. Also the FL do not have to see any evidence the club have plans to return to Coventry. They can/will take Fisher/Labovitch's word for it.
