Hear say on a fans forum, which is on twitter and all in all has replaced pub talk, however its a lot more accessible to a lot more people, chances are Eakin Linnell etc saw tweets about it and put it towards Clouting.

I always find it hard to trust the club Weren't were in an embargo before and didn't even know?

Why would he come straight out and defend it against a rumour on the internet? Much like the "Club is not for sale" type comments.

What it does indicate is just how much SISU have peeved off most fans. It only takes the slightest whisper and we'll believe the worst-case scenario: there is so much distrust between the fans and the owners/board that they can never turn things around. Even a simple denial isn't enough, because usually such statements smell of the brown stuff.

It is because the denials are usually rubbish and are usually followed with something saying the exact opposite

These are the tw@ts who claimed they had a meeting arranged with the council about the Ricoh; only for the council to immediately deny this.

I don't care what anyone says, they are liars and don't care what happens to CCFC as long as they get some money back.

bump - gave you the proof with the formation, which nobody else has - we cannot buy or loan anybody - contracts were sorted before this was in place

Saying our only real striker will play isn't really proof.

Not saying you're wrong, but it'd need something a little less predictable than that.

except McSheffrey started up front with Juke - and we didnt start with a 5 man midfield but there you go.

As far as I am aware the contract extensions were signed Thursday - plus Football League Rule 16.20.3 refers to new contracts of existing players also (an extension is a new contract otherwise it would not need signing) in terms of embargos. So for now there is nothing to say we are under embargo - and we have to take what Clouting says as true
