So, I was using my lunch break to browse the CET website (something I dont seem to do very often since the forum got shut down) and I saw a link under the Coventry City Banter heading entitled "Embargo?"

I clicked on the link, as I, myself have theorised a secret embargo being placed on the club and it's nice when people agree with you. The link was dead!! Not a problem, I thought to myself, probably a glitch. I clicked on another link to the banter page which worked fine... I then attepted to find this Banterer's blog and give it a read.

It was gone... deleted from the site. All that remains is that dead link on the CET site.

So... Could this sky blue blogger have hit the nail on the head, forcing a representative from the club to contact the CET in order to remove it? Stranger things have happened and I have heard of the local press getting into trouble by showing CCFC in a rather negative light. Or is it merely mistake on behalf of the CET/CoventryBanter?

Or am I just an over analysing conpsirasist?

Mate what's an Embago and what nail might he have hit on the head? I know what an embargo is, but you don't seem to be referring to that?

No need rich mate, we all knew what he ment!

Don't think we are in an embargo though, think we literally have nothing to offer players, in cash terms anyway.

Embago Banter is actual a medical condition. Very similar to Lumbago which is a pain in the back.

I literally didn't know if an Embago was something different, because I don't see why the club would censor this info? It may actually do them good to reveal if an embargo was in place as it would explain why no-one is coming in. Not picking at the guy, I asked could he explain further what was meant by the post because I don't understand. So Hamil speak for yourself, because I don't know what he meant!

Pray tell, what a pain in the neck is called?

Looks like the attendees at the recent fans forum didn't ask the right questions.

Think the correct medical term is Kenbago Dulieuitis.

We missed a couple of 'R's out when we got rid of Ray Ranson.

You are thinking of Pato Banton.

Way down deep in the middle of the Congo, a hippo took an apricot, a
guava and a mango. He stuck it with the others, and he danced a dainty
tango.

The rhino said, "I know, we'll call it Em bago", Embago, Embago,
They drink it in the Congo.

The python picked the passion fruit, the marmoset the mandarin. The
parrot painted packets, that the whole caboodle landed in.

So when it comes to sun and fun and goodness in the jungle, They all
prefer the sunny funny one they call Embago!

I watch it a few times, but to be honest, the acting was bad, and I dont really know why the BBC spent all that money on a film set in spain for a soap opera.

Always quite liked that little spanish lass that was going out with Marcus (think she was called Pilar).

Anyway, shame really, but more tax payers money wasted.

Honestly... I've never known anything like it!!!!

Anyway... The reason I thought to highlight it was because they kept the January embargo (almost made the same mistake there... as if I hadn't already committed social suicide) a under wraps for as long as they could. As per CET peice 25/03/2011.

if there was an embargo,do you not think the board at CCFC would have told us? have they ever been anything but open and honest with us?
