He literally played the most minutes per 90 in our team (82 minutes) and ranked 7th last season for minutes played. For context, Eccles minutes per 90 was 73 and he was our second in appearances after Simms.
Perhaps if he didn’t have to play every minute of every game, he wouldn’t get injured as often.
I felt frustrated and disappointed, like most people yesterday, having not secured a couple more signings. However, I hope that general feeling doesn't get directed at the midfield players still here that gives their best whenever they represent the club. Like anyone turning up to work, they will perform better if they feel valued.
For me the anger should be directed at knobheads who deliberately post false information on social media that fuels fires.
