TBF there are a number of different threads abound.
Being realistic what does everyone think could happen b4 tonights deadline? In's and out's?
I feel there will be a CM coming in but who I have not got a clue.

So, what realistically are you expecting?

Just what I’m expecting based on the noise coming out at the moment. Could maybe see a right back in.

Think we’re done for incomings, just get the feeling. Not a complaint - “it is what it is”, to use a phrase that fucking irritates me.

Don’t think Palmer goes until we have a midfielder coming in…could well stay.

I think we could do with two in, CM and Defender, I don’t think we will get these though and I think two out, maybe Palmer and Taveres, or one of these and Collins

If there are no more incomings, i'm disappointed that we didn't bring in a CM.

Not complaining about the level of activity as such (we have attackers galore), it's more that i don't think we've focussed on the right areas. We could easily have got one less attacking player and brought in a CM

I imagine we tried for some CMs but they’ve fallen through

i dont share this view although a lot of people do. We play four at the back and have four centre backs. Two of which would have been record signings about 3 years ago

Apparently we've had a bid rejected for a Peruvian fullback from a danish club.

What noise?! That's the point the club have worked hard to plug the leaks. Bassette and to a degree BTA were basically done before we knew anything.

Obvious to me that a decent midfielder or two is what the team are really missing. With Palmer gone and Sheaf out injured again, whoo hoo Allen, Eccles and Torp for tomorrow. Bet Norwich are quaking in their boots. So disappointed we haven't brought a new midfielder in. Desperately needed one after Hamer left last year, but now we are even more depleted. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the backside.

This pretty much nails it. A very weird transfer policy if we don’t bring in any other midfielder. It really shouldn’t have been left this late either. The midfielder depth has been a problem from last season.

Saddlebrains said he has a slight problem and won't figure tomorrow but should be okay after the international break. So injury prone, just what we want at the moment

The club has been pursuing a central midfielder all summer but has missed out on three players, by all accounts. Now we know that Robins is shopping also for a full back.

Surprised and disappointed that Palmer was sold but it sounds like the player wanted the move. Leaves the midfield even weaker.

Looks promising that Sheaf and Van Ewijk will stay, so perhaps that is the good news of this window

Do you think King will try and get a youngster in on loan who plays Centre midfield? Will struggle to get any real quality on a permanent deal this late in the window, a loan may be the only option.

I would have suggested that a loan player would have been the ideal option as a back up on the right flank. But a centre midfielder of the type we need suggests a more established player on a permanent deal

I mean I don't think we needed to worry about anyone coming in for Sheaf. That would be mad given his fitness record.
