It is obvious now that Clarke and Wilson were carrying this team, all this talk about it being down to our style of play and we would score whoever players because we create chances is now looking like rubbish.

I still maintain we will be safe this season but I am massively worried about next season now.

We are playing midfielders as strikers FFS

So now we've used all 3 subs, but the one striker in the squad remains on the bench.

So frustrating

City score. Marshall with a ball through and Petrasso scores. Too late?

If I was Steve Pressley, I would resign whilst my reputation as an excellent young manager was still intact. He's on a hiding to nothing with these bastards as owners.

Petrasso gets a well deserved goal. Long ball from Marshall played over the defence, ran onto by Pet and takes it round the keeper

Shrewsbury leading now too.

They were playing notts county though so that is mostly a wash, I guess the draw was the best result for us, but notts county were 2 nil up, had a man sent off and have now conceded 3. Notts county winning would have put us a point closer to relegation.

At what point do you question Pressley. Even with our squad should we be losing 3-0 to Notts County and Tranmere, either side of a defeat to Carlisle? There just seems to be no plan B and his signings are weak. I haven't fallen out of love with him yet but he's testing my patience at the moment. Let's remember it is Pressley that wanted a small squad. When we have injuries and look wafer thin he does have questions to answer.

that is all valid.

we went from having 3-4 strikers to none. 3-4 CBs to 2 :thinking about:

Agree but I doubt this is what Pressley had in mind when he planned out how his squad would look

I don't think he expected our top scorer to leave and then one replacement to leave and the other to get injured

I'm sure it wasn't but if he'd kept even a couple of extra squad players at least we'd be able to field players in position. And what has Maund done wrong not to even get a chance when we a desperate.

utter crap.

It's thanks to Leon Clarke's goals and his positive influence on Wilson, we're not already in a relegation fight.

LC let no-one down. He, like the fans was let down by the owners.

This is controversial but would Stephen Pressley resigning and citing SISU refusal to play
in Coventry as unacceptable and no longer tenable be for the best in Coventry City's long term interests.

He will get another job no problem. However he must have known what he was getting into and must have known SISU' s
agenda and plans.

People questioning Pressley and the players... wow are you lot f**king serious?!!

Do you not remember the 10pt deduction? Pressley and the players technically have us in 7/8th place. They are giving it their best and are doing pretty well you know.

FFS.
