His timing always seems off. Multiple deaths and many injured. Is this the time for political point scoring?

That's a pretty tight curve for a high-speed train. Probably operator error. Hope they tested him/her for impairment.

Was thinking along those lines too.
Also thats a lot carraiges for less than 80 passengers.

It's incredible that the train fell onto the freeway below and that had lots of traffic and no-one from any of the vehicles on the road was killed.

So it was doing 80 on a stretch limited to 30.

It sounds like the one in Croydon I think it was where the guy fell asleep and hammered it into a corner

The stats on this are throwing me.
78 on board, 3 dead, 72-3 in hospital.
Seems so many carriages to accomodate that number.
Without wishing to make light of others misfortune, the two guys featured on BBC news this morning must feeling like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable.

I haven't seen much about it, was it at the end of the route so most had got off?
