Hello

Coming up Saturday for the game on the train and just wanted to ask a question or two.

Is the Black Horse pub anywhere near the ground an has anybody got the address for it?

How much would a taxi be from the train station to the pub.

Cheers

It's not far.

Here you go. Post code and some info. Not sure how far a walk it would be. Would guess at about 15-20 mins.

Are you all stupid????

The official Away fans pub is called the Black Horse, and is in Exhall!

Tractor Boy, the pub is where this pin is:

Directions from the train station:

http://g.co/maps/wczg9 - about £15 in a taxi.

you are best to get a train from coventry to bedworth mate, then taxi to the black horse on the coventry road, exhall. its a 20 minute walk to the ground from there on a seriously dangerous bypass so get another taxi to drop you off. if you order a taxi for the roundabout at the end of the game one will be there at the roundabout .. but you will have to stand and wait as it will keep on the move round to avoid the police giving it a ticket. have a great day pal, 3 points in the bag for your team!!

We,Came back to the "Blackhorse"After our day at wembly in 87, Myself, Brother Paul, and Dad, Dad lived in Blackhorse rd, so it was Handy, Alan Gordon kept it then and it was a decent pub, the place was Heaving, you just couldn't move, and the Atmosphere was Amazing, Alan Gordon has passed away since then, and so has my dad, who was a real Coventry Kid, Born and raised in Edgewick road, and a life long Supporter.
Yes I've got Happy Memories about "The Black Horse and that wonderful, Summers Day in 1987.
Regards... Tankie

if he follows ur advice i hope he is bringing his credit card, if he wants to go the black horse exhall just get a taxi there, why would he pay for another train to bedworth passing the ricoh then have to get a taxi back anyway to exhall, and as for this dangerous bypass? u dont walk that way unless ur crazy, just cut through the industrial state, not being funny but ur definately no globe trekker are u, u were right about one thing though mate, definate 3 points in the bag for them

You all see so down beat? Thought you'd hit some good form?

Anyone got a number for a taxi firm? Preferably ones without running meters.

You'll struggle to get any without meters!

The Cov prefix is 02476 and then any of 333333, 666666, 555555 etc.

The 3's are usually pretty good.
