So flipping excited for it's start in July. I have taken a month off work and convinced the wife to let me set up a massive 98" TV screen and stationary bicycle in the box room. I'm going to paint the walls Sky Blue and nail some shirts to them. I'm going to paint floor/carpet black, to look like tarmac, and them i'm going to bolt my new exercise bike so it's secure. Most people watch cycling while sat on the sofa, I like to immerse my self by joining in and acting like I'm in the race, call me sad, but some people collect and paint figurines and set up battlefields on their dining room tables. Sorry, I got sidetracked.
Once the Tour de France is over, my wife is letting me use it as a Football room where I can watch when the city play away.
Does anyone else have a CCFC man cave?
I hope Jonas Vingegaard wins the race this year. So flipping excited.

That's what gears are for. Feel free to inbox me for more bicycle advice mate, I can't get enough of it - but i don't want to clog up the forum. I'm interested in other ccfc man caverns/cycle rooms, rather than chatting publicly about gear ratios. Cheers.

Don't forget to to get the beams stress tested, and use a roller for the paint so much better than a distemper brush!

You can write on the road, "allez allez Pete" on the mountain stages, whilst dressed as the devil!

It’s not good for Bank Tellers to ride a bicycle to work

They lose their balance.

I have a part of the lounge occupied with three pianos; a Rhodes mk1, a Wurlitzer 200a and a Korg Sv1 along with an amplifier, mixing desk and speakers, Pete.
I wanted to convert the small bedroom into a studio, but the Spanish missus wants to keep it as is incase one of my two mid thirties year old children need to come and stay (they both live less than a couple of miles away).

You are going to nail some shirts to the wall? Does your wife trust you with DIY and a hammer?

Re being in the race, I'm so good I can do it sat in my armchair, I don't need an exercise bike
