Nope not at all Elliot is not the answer in terms of quality but his workrate is excellent. McDonald is not good enough either for us to actually succeed as a team but nor is this individual. Whoever takes charge in the next couple of weeks will need to look high and low or we'll not get back up !

I just don't get it.

Any thread about Elliott has always been whether he should start rather than be on the bench. No thread on whether he is shit or not.

Yet we have thread after thread after thread asking that question about our top scorer and the 2nd top scorer in the entire league.

I don't want to see anyone slated, but if a player needed slating out of the strikers you would have to say it should be him.

Clarke positioning for crosses is very poor,he is always the last man at the far post,he should be making runs infront of the defender or keeper to get there first,instead he is waiting for the ball to come to him.He attacked the ball for his goal at crewe by making a run.Elliot is not the best but goes looking for the ball and hungry for it

Take your point re Clarke Deano... but..his goal ratio is the best at the club...I just don't get why he is always the fall guy.. not deserved... in my opinion.

Elliott is a bit shit tbf, he definitely isn't a goal scorer.
