Mr, Waggott, who I have total respect for, and many other 'people of power' within the club always talk about 'the academy being our life line' or 'we must always invest in the academy' BUT FFS it was WE fans, and in particular Monksie who saved the academy. The academy, we were told 3 or 4 years ago, was not paying it's way. It was going to close and it was only because of Kev and a few others that the £60,000 was raise to kep it going. How Mr. Waggott, or any other managerial bod can take credit for the academy success is beyond me. All I can say is that people have very short memories.
I don't think the majority of fans give SISU credit for anything. They have tried to take credit for Dave Bussts Football in the Community as well in the past, they don't pay for that either, it's a charity.

Higgs gave the academy a home. And they have given the academy a home again. Credit to SISUE though. They found a way of backtracking to take them back by making out there are different sections of the Higgs charity as there is with SISUE, Scrotium and whatever they call each part
