I don't agree with JWM on a lot of things.
However he said 22 pros supported by your kids is enough I am happy with that. On hearing today that Barton will do the passing. If Cody stays fit we have to get in top six.

Murphy Dunn
Clarke Christie
Wood Malaga
Cameron Edge
Hussey Brown
Jenning Thomas Kilbane.
Fleck Barton
Baker Bell
Sheff Elliot
Cody ?
Peter Ball

The only player missing is the back up poacher.

If Cody stays fit ie no injuries for longer than a month. We have to get in top six.
Also hope to God Wood and Hussey are here to stay.
Maybe Sheff or Elliot could fill Cody's shoes?

Could move Fleck down alongside Cody then and slot Kilbane in the gap.......looking good imo!

Had him in and removed him by mistake somehow. Definately feeling very confident after hearing about bartons performance.
Love it if we did magic another poacher from somewhere.

I honestly have never been so excited about a season, we need to get off to a good start!
The likes of Baker, Cody, and they other players used to the lower leagues need to support the youngsters who may not know what to expect!

We know that Thorn has made some quality signings before, albeit as chief scout!
That's why I'm excited to see the likes of Fleck, Barton maybe Jennings.
Plus I can't wait to see if Cody could show what he's made of!

I said when we got relegated, we had a side good enough for that league then as we have league 1 standard players. This was before the additions of 'talented' fleck!

Can we do it!?

At this level yes. Can't remember a time in ages where we have nearly 2 in each position. Who are all up for it and want to play.

Victor Chandler. Good odds, most other places he's between 25-33/1.

thorn won't sign jennings. If he under performed yesterday and has been stalling a move for him then he can't be sure about him.
hopefully we will sign peter, he sounds good.
but with kilbane starting defensive mid as captain and barton shining, thomas back from injury in a month and brown with the ability to play defensive mid too, i don't think thorn will stretch his tight budget to sign jennings unfortunately

"It's something we will have to discuss with the powers that be, I thought Stephen did well. He got on the ball, he used it well and that was only his second 45 minutes of pre-season and we will also want to sit down and have a chat with Peter this week." thats from thorns post match interview when he was asked about the trialists

From everything we've heard the Jennings signing is pretty much a formality.

I thought that many people had already seen Jennings play in Scotland and decided he was quality?

From the post match interview on Sky Blue Player I thought he sounded pleased with Jennings performance and think he will try to bring him in but thought he sounded uncertain about Polo and seemed to answer the question vaguely. Not sure if he will go for Polo.

No, I don't think anyone has actually seen him play in Scotland. Astutes son (I think?) is a Motherwell fan and rates him, but's about it.
