Has been a fairly uninspiring day so I thought I would end on something i found inspiring and strangely it was last nights TOP GEAR - not a program know for that quality.
They did an article about a rally team - these guys were looking to make it into the Dakar Rally which is widely regarded as the toughest in the world.
The team was made up of soldiers that had served in Afghanistan, all had been wounded and lost at least a foot or arm, some even more. None looked for special treatment or pity - they just wanted to get on with life.
Footballing or sporting "heroes" do not come close to these men - The Real Heroes
