Jones only scored 2 in the whole of last season

Hard to guage yet of course, but woulld now expect Jones to get close to 10, 10 from Beavon and maybe 12-14 from McNulty. Just now down to whether any out of Duckens, Biamou, Thomas or Ponticelli can get 15 or so.

That little sum total up there would do us just nicely. Vincenti will surely get a few too you would have thought.

Pre season he lost every header in the games I saw and looked really weak inn the header. He must have been saving it

Team will improve yet so confident many will score.

Grimmer finnaly started attacking bit more second half so i thibk fullbacks getting crosses in could give us a few goals too.

Also liked that the 2 strikers thay ended game were conpletly different to the 2 that began it. Gives us lots of horses for the different courses of league 2

The signs were good, some intelligent runs, moves and passes. McNulty will get some goals and Beavon too.
Hopefully JJ will draw confidence from today and chip in with 10 this season.

Mcdonald looks useful from set pieces as does Vincenti.

We actually looked like a team that were playing for each other and knew full what the end game was rather than a group of players thrown together and told to do this that n the next thing n if that fails...pray!

McNulty 18
Beavon 14
Duck 14
Jones 10
Biamou 6

Then 4 or 5 each from the Midfield.

I feel a goalfest coming if Robins can find a place for Duck. Have him and Jones both running in on goal. Most teams won't be able to cope. They will either sit back and hope to hit us on the break or risk us hitting them on the break.

Can't remember the last time I was this confident after one game.

Just watched it and I have to say 'very impressed, for a group of players who barely know
One another they seem to have jelled very quickly, hats off to MR for assembling them on
A shoestring and organising them so quickly, and they will improve as well.
I thought Jones's finishing was superb,on the angle and under pressure but never rushed,
Picked his spot and stroked it home 'very confident' reminiscent of Dion Dublin.
