Yes, the budget in theory is meaningless it is how it is spent that matters. TM and MV totally messed up this summer. This season's disaster is down to them. They knew what the budget was, they should have spent more wisely and not panicked.

Maybe not the best around but the best a club like us at the time could get? You can only buy or pay wages for top quality players for our level if you have a top quality budget to use. To me that is where we are at and why we needed loan signings to help improve the squad numbers to make it competitive. Not the ideal scenario but the only option at the time. All rather depressing though
