  1. Tony Mowbray is the red hot favourite for the job. He has the experience.

Should have been appointed when he let it be known he was keen on the job years ago. We apparently declined, tried to appoint Cotterill and then went for Boothroyd.

Suspect the ship has sailed now.

He has no real experience of working with no funds to buy players or of this division.

Can't see why he would be interested really.

Mowbray would be a great shout loads of experience and done a good job at Albion and everywhere he's been.
But I'll repeat it again us City fans would find fault if Mourinho got the nod !

Well if it is true no one can chuck out the "no one will come here" line. He'd be a big name manager in this league.

Lol. 90% of the chairman in this league would take him in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't mind Tony Mowbray managing our club. Would bring out the best from our players. Nigel Adkins will be my 1st choice though.

He once spent £2.5m on Leon Barnett. For this reason and this reason only, I'm out.

He applied for the Scunthorpe job and has actively stated hes looking to move back into Management.

So deffo would be interested, and would be the experienced head we need to get out the mess we are currently in, however the fav does not always get the job.

Yea, didn't say much.

Was pressed on investment, said they have invested as much as they can with the constraints put on them. Claims budget was 2.6 million and increased further with the loans of Nouble, Hines and Madine. A little wiggle room for new manager to sign loans or free agents.
Poor recruitment in the summer, he's considered his own position several times and everyone at the club from top to bottom needs to have a good luck in the mirror. Good relationship with Wasps, really hurts him to see current attendances so low after 27k for the first match. Talked a bit about new stadium, usual same old working hard, want to announce something as quickly as possible.

We may well want Tony Mowbray, but we all know we will probably end up with his cousin, Melton.

I would take Mowbray. Excellent record and made some key signings for WBA, Brunt & Morrison both regulars years on.

Ironically Mowbray had very little to spend at Boro due to the hangover from highly paid players from Gordon Strachan's reign! He's ideal...

Yep, that is definitely relevant to how much Juke was sold for.
