Wow! Just looked at the Bury v Sheff Utd stats.

Shelf Utd didn't have a single shot on target. Who would have believed that after the effort Bury put in against us on Saturday!

It was a kick up the backside on Saturday for Bury

Was it the same keeper in goal for Bury as Saturday? If so I would have got my keeper having pot shots at him from 80 yards!

Just a tad!

15 games left, I would say 10 wins with a bit of luck, then 2 draws, 3 defeats.

That would give us 84 points. That could be enough, but we would need other teams to drop points here and there for sure.

we are asuming that Wigan Gillingham Burton Walsall keep on winning and the answer is we stay in the playoffs, however if we can put a run of 3/4 consecutive wins together then its a dog fight to the seasons end. None of these teams apart from Wigan have suffered injuries and suspension like we have

That's why I think that the Wigan away fixture is pinnacle to our season going forward. If we can win there then it will be in our own hands to go into the Auto's

If we are there or there abouts, we are going to have some bumper home crowds for these games, Bradford, Sheffield, Millwall.

As great as last night was for us chaps, it evens out over the season. The other week I think we drew or lost and every other team around us picked up points.

Last night has no doubt helped a little but we need to continue picking up 3 points on a regular basis to stay in. Years of let downs means I won't believe anything until after 46 games!

had walsall and wigan on 91pts in top 2

i may have given them too much but one things for sure, if cov hit 86pts we are in with a shout of top 2

and that was with draws vs barnsley gills and shrews and losses to pboro and wigan to boot.

I reckon 86 points would be enough for 2nd place! Would be delighted with 86! I'm sure that could well be enough.

in my office i have a pts coundown for top 2(which i calculated at 89 pts) that i rip off after wins and draws lol.

right now it stands at 10 wins 7 draws so bit behind schedule but if we beat fleetwood it will be 10 wins and 4 draws with 14 games left to go

gonna be so tough but maybe just maybe this really will be our season?

Or 9 wins and 7 draws

This way it looks easier, get the win tally down to 0 ASAP then any win after that knocks 3 draws off.

All in the mind...
