Remind me, how does financial fair play work again, or is Hasselbaink simply a total genius?

Nuneaton is 70,000 so Burton are punching well above their weight

Not really, lots of factors in play.

West Bromwich is around 90k they are in the PL
Burnley have recently been in the PL c80k

Then at the other end of the scale, Bristol is a similar size as Liverpool, yet don't have 2 heavy weight PL clubs

Bradford 350k
Luton 211k
Swindon 180k
Oxford 170k
York 150k
Cambridge 145k

All have bigger populations than PL Watford 130k and WBA 90k.

Oh and the 2011 census says the population of nuneaton is 82k (it was 70k in 2001 census)

The real team punching above its weight is Fleetwood (25k population). Perhaps Nuneaton are underachieving?

Those towns have probably grown a bit figures were from here (2001) http://www.lovemytown.co.uk/footballteams/FootballTeamsTable5.asp

still plently of time for walsall to fall away without smith and lets hope burton lose JFH too

we are better than burton imo and shouldnt fear them, there will be twists and turns all season, we just need to keep our run going and things will fall into place

8pts from december and we will still be bang in title hunt going into 2016

Interesting fixture coming up Burton v Gills.

Don't know if I'd prefer Gills to win to give us the chance to go top again .... or Burton to turn them over and give them less chance of grabbing an auto place. Very long way to go yet, but every little helps.
